''From the Devil's Chalise'' is a 2008 EP by black metal band Behexen Behexen is a Finnish black metal band founded in 1994. They adopted a more traditional approach to black metal by incorporating raw characteristics. Their first full-length release was ''Rituale Satanum'', released in 2000 and followed by ''By .... It was released as a three 7" vinyl box-set, including a Behexen logo patch and stickers. The material was recorded in 2004, but the release was delayed for several reasons for four years. Black Metal
Black metal is an extreme metal, extreme subgenre of heavy metal music. Behexen
Behexen is a Finnish black metal band founded in 1994. They adopted a more traditional approach to black metal by incorporating raw characteristics. Their first full-length release was ''Rituale Satanum'', released in 2000 and followed by ''By the Blessing of Satan'' in 2004. They have also released a split with Horna (12" LP limited to 500 and CD 1000 copies) and a 3-vinyl set ''From the Devil's Chalice'' (limited to 666 copies). Behexen toured Europe in 2005, as a support act to Archgoat. Satanic ideology and influences Behexen adopts to highly satanic lyrics and imagery. Vocalist and lyricist Hoath Torog identifies himself as a satanist. Christophe Szpajdel
Christophe Szpajdel (; born 29 September 1970) is a Belgian-born international calligraphist and illustrator, principally known for designing band logos. Life Szpajdel was born on 29 September 1970 in Gembloux, Namur, Belgium, and grew up in Louvain-la-Neuve, Walloon Brabant, Belgium. His parents are of Polish origin but immigrated to Belgium before he was born. He grew up speaking Polish and French, and eventually learned English, German, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. Szpajdel began drawing at the age of 3 when he drew a praying mantis while vacationing with his parents in the south of France. From 1981 to 1989, he attended the Institut Saint-Jean Baptiste, a Catholic primary school in Wavre, Walloon Brabant, Belgium. His parents were originally against his ambitions of becoming a calligraphist and insisted on his continual education and enrollment in a university.
