''From Jennifer'', sometimes stylized as ''#FromJennifer'', is a 2017 comedy horror film written and directed by Frank Merle. The film stars Danielle Taddei and Derek Mears as an unlikely duo plotting to become internet celebrities by filming and posting an outrageous revenge plot. On October 17, 2016 it was announced by ''The Hollywood Reporter'' that horror icon Tony Todd, best known for playing Candyman was joining the cast as Jennifer's manager Chad Wolfe. When the first trailer was posted on January 19, 2017 by the Horror Society, it was confirmed that the cast included Derek Mears, best known as Jason Voorhees in 2009's ''Friday the 13th'' and Aaron Abrams from TV's ''Hannibal'' and ''Blindspot''. Frank Merle
Frank Merle is an American screenwriter, director and producer best known for '' The Employer'' and '' From Jennifer.'' Also a theatrical producer and director, Merle trained at The Theatre School at DePaul University. Film career After graduating summa cum laude from The Theatre School, Merle co-founded Keyhole Theatre Company in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago, IL. He served as Artistic Director of Keyhole Theatre Company for seven years, during which time he directed and produced over thirty professional stage productions, both at Keyhole Theatre and at several other Chicago area theater companies. Dread Central has won the Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Award for Best Website four times and was selected as AMC's Site of the Week in 2008. History Dread Central was founded on July 4, 2006. Neil William Garguilo (born April 14, 1982) is an American writer, producer, director, actor and improv comedian. Garguilo is co-creator, showrunner and star of the Syfy original animated series ''Hell Den'' which is amongst the first series to appear on Syfy's TZGZ late-night block. He also appeared on all five seasons of the MTV hit comedy series ''Awkward'', and regularly works with Funny or Die and members of the comedy group Broken Lizard.
