"From Here to Eternity" is a song recorded by American country music artist Michael Peterson, who co-wrote the song with Robert Ellis Orrall. It was released in September 1997 as the second single from his first album, '' Michael Peterson'', becoming his only number one hit on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts that year. Content Peterson claims that the single is a "pretty spiritual song" and that he wrote the song "about faith and it came out as a country song". It is set at a moderate tempo with a vocal range from D4 to A5. The song begins in the key of G major, and transposes a whole step upward to A major halfway through the final chorus. Michael James Peterson (born August 7, 1959) is an American country music artist. He made his debut on the country music scene in 1997 with his second self-titled album (following his 1986 release featuring contemporary Christian songs), which produced five Top 40 hits on ''Billboard''s Hot Country Singles & Tracks, including the Number One hit "From Here to Eternity". Peterson's second album, 1999's '' Being Human'', produced two more chart singles, and a third album, 2004's ''Modern Man'', was issued only in Europe. Marin County is a County (United States), county located in the northwestern part of the San Francisco Bay Area of the U.S. state of California. Point Reyes
Point Reyes (, meaning "Point of the Kings") is a prominent cape and popular Northern California tourist destination on the Pacific coast. Located in Marin County, it is approximately west-northwest of San Francisco. The term is often applied to the Point Reyes Peninsula, the region bounded by Tomales Bay on the northeast and Bolinas Lagoon on the southeast. The headland is protected as part of Point Reyes National Seashore. Overview The cape protects Drakes Bay on its southern side. The headland is largely drained by Drakes Estero. Steven Harvey Goldmann (August 18, 1961 – April 30, 2015) was a Canadian music video and film director. He directed over 200 music videos. Goldmann also directed the movies ''Broken Bridges'' and ''Trailer Park of Terror'', and additionally directed several television programs. Goldmann died of cancer on April 30, 2015.
