''From Chao Phraya to Irrawaddy'' ( th, จากเจ้าพระยาสู่อิรวดี; my, ကျောက်ဖရားမှဧရာဝတီသို့) is a 2022 Thai-Burmese historical drama television series directed by Chatchai Katenut starring Thai actor Jirayu Thantrakul, Thai actress Tangtang Nattaruchi, Burmese actor Daung and Burmese actress Hnin Thway Yu Aung. It aired on Thai PBS 3, from January 1 to February 6, 2022, on every Saturday and Sunday at ( THA) 20:15. Daung ( my, ဒေါင်း; , born Thuya Aung; 30 March 1990) is a Burmese film and television actor and former footballer. He first gained widespread fame in Myanmar through his role in the 2019 film ''The Only Mom''. Daung is known for his method acting performances, in contrast to the more typical melodramatic forms of acting popular in Burmese cinema. Early life Daung was born on 30 March 1990 in Minhla, Pyay District, Bago Division, Burma. He is the 4th son of 5 siblings. He moved to Mandalay in the second grade. Panji Tales
The Panji tales (formerly spelled Pandji) are a cycle of Javanese stories, centred around the legendary prince of the same name from East Java, Indonesia. Along with the Ramayana and Mahabharata, the tales are the basis of various poems and a genre of wayang (shadow puppetry) known in East Java as ''wayang gedhog'' (the meaning here is unclear, as "gedhog" means "a thumping sound"). Panji tales have been the inspiration of Indonesian traditional dances, most notably the topeng (mask) dances of Cirebon and Malang, as well as gambuh dance-drama in Bali. Mohinga (, ; also spelt mont hin gar) is a rice noodle and fish soup from Myanmar and an essential part of Burmese cuisine, considered by many to be the national dish of Myanmar. Mohinga is readily available in most parts of the country, sold by street hawkers and roadside stalls in larger cities. Mohinga is traditionally eaten for breakfast, but today is eaten at any time of day. Thado Minsaw
Thado Minsaw ( my, သတိုးမင်းစော ; 15 June 1762 – 9 April 1808), also known as Shwedaung Min (), was heir-apparent of Burma from 1783 to 1808, during the reign of his father King Bodawpaya of Konbaung dynasty. As Prince of Shwedaung and Dabayin, he was entrusted by the king to manage the day-to-day affairs of the kingdom, and when necessary, to lead the Royal Army against enemies. Thado Minsaw is best known for his conquest of Arakan (now Rakhine State) in 1784–1785 and the subsequent removal of Mahamuni Buddha from Mrauk-U to Amarapura.Myint-U 2006: 109–110 He also led the successful defense of Tenasserim (Taninthayi) coast in 1792 in the war with Siam.
