Frisbee (TV Channel)
Frisbee is an Italian TV channel marketed towards a children audience of 4 to 14-year-olds, owned by Warner Bros. Discovery EMEA, a division of Warner Bros. Discovery. History Frisbee was launched by Switchover Media on 12 June 2010. The channel was marketed at a male audience as a "Channel of Heroes". After Switchover was acquired by Discovery Communications, On 30 June 2013 the channel rebranded in order to target a female audience and switched its aspect ratio to 16:9. On 30 April 2015 the channel rebranded again and changed its focus to a general 4–14 year old audience. Switchover Media (SOM) was an Italian broadcaster of television channels. The company first operated as a subsidiary of Netherlands-based broadcaster Jetix Europe to being purchased out by its management and rebranding to Switchover Media in June 2009, to its purchase and folding by Discovery Communications in January 2013. ''Curious George'' is an American animated children's television family comedy series based on the children's book series of the same name which features Jeff Bennett as the voice of Ted Shackelford (credited as "The Man with the Yellow Hat" --formerly called that in the original series books and telefilm books). Frank Welker, who voiced George in the 2006 feature film, returns as the voice of him. The show premiered on PBS Kids on September 4, 2006, and originally ended after nine seasons on April 1, 2015 before returning in 2018. ''Filly Funtasia'' is a computer-animated fantasy television series created by Jacob and Henrik Andersen for Dracco. The series follows filly Rose and her friends as they attend a magical academy in the royal kingdom of Funtasia. It is based on the ''Filly'' toy franchise. The series was originally produced by Dracco Brands, BRB Internacional, Screen 21, and Black Dragon Entertainment, but the latter three companies dropped out of producing the series around 2016, and the former dropped out in 2019.
