Fringe Season 2
The second season of the American science fiction television series '' Fringe'' commenced airing on the Fox network on September 17, 2009, and concluded on May 20, 2010. The season was produced by Bad Robot in association with Warner Bros. Television, and its showrunners were Jeff Pinkner and J. H. Wyman. Actors Anna Torv, John Noble, and Joshua Jackson reprised their roles as FBI agent Olivia Dunham and father-son duo Walter and Peter Bishop, respectively. Previous series regulars Lance Reddick, Jasika Nicole, Blair Brown, and Kirk Acevedo also returned, though with Acevedo in a limited capacity. The season followed the continuation of a war between two universes, the prime and the parallel. It was set in the former, until the last several episodes when Peter Bishop (Jackson) journeyed back to the parallel universe after being lured there by his real father, "Walternate" (Noble). Fox Broadcasting Company
The Fox Broadcasting Company, commonly known simply as Fox and stylized in all caps as FOX, is an American commercial broadcast television network owned by Fox Corporation and headquartered in New York City, with master control operations and additional offices at the Fox Network Center in Los Angeles and the Fox Media Center in Tempe. Bonnie Blair Brown (born April 23, 1946) is an American theater, film and television actress. She has had a number of high-profile roles, including in the play ''Copenhagen'' on Broadway, the leading actress in the films ''Altered States'' (1980), ''Continental Divide'' (1981) and '' Strapless'' (1989), as well as a run as the title character in the comedy-drama television series ''The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd'', which ran from 1987 to 1991. Golden Reel Award (Motion Picture Sound Editors)
Motion Picture Sound Editors (M.P.S.E.) is an American honorary society of motion picture sound editors founded in 1953. The society's goals are to educate others about and increase the recognition of the sound editors, show the artistic merit of the soundtracks, and improve the professional relationship of its members. Creative Arts Emmy Award
The Creative Arts Emmys are a class of Emmy Awards presented in recognition of technical and other similar achievements in American television programming. They are commonly awarded to behind-the-scenes personnel such as production designers, set decorators, video editors, costume designers, cinematographers, casting directors, and sound editors. The Creative Arts category also includes awards for outstanding animated programs, commercials, and guest actors. The ''Seattle Post-Intelligencer'' (popularly known as the ''Seattle P-I'', the ''Post-Intelligencer'', or simply the ''P-I'') is an online newspaper and former print newspaper based in Seattle, Washington, United States. "Over There" is the two-part second season finale of the Fox science fiction drama series ''Fringe''. They are the 21st and 22nd episodes of the season, and the 42nd and 43rd episodes of the series overall. "Brown Betty" is the 19th episode of the second season of the American science fiction drama television series ''Fringe'', the 40th overall episode of the series, and is the only one of the series performed as a musical. The episode was written by co-showrunners Jeff Pinkner and J. H. Wyman, and consulting producer Akiva Goldsman. It was directed by filmmaker Seith Mann. As the episode begins with Peter's continued disappearance, Walter consoles himself by smoking a strain of marijuana called "Brown Betty." "Unearthed" is a bonus special standalone episode released during the second season of the American science fiction drama television program, television series ''Fringe (TV series), Fringe''. While it serves as the 31st released episode of the series, it was produced during the Fringe (season 1), first season and is recognized by Fox as the 21st episode of ''Fringe'' overall. Despite this, it does not fit into the series' continuity nor is it recognized as the Season finale, season finale; it was released later due to an accounting error.
