Friedel Von Wangenheim
Friedel Freiherr von Wangenheim (May 11, 1939 – April 6, 2001) was a German songwriter, playwright, and actor. Life Friedel von Wangenheim came from a family of famous German stage actors. His grandfather was Eduard von Winterstein, his parents Inge and Gustav von Wangenheim. Friedel von Wangenheim himself was married in a second marriage to the actress Renate Reinecke. In the GDR Wangenheim worked as a playwright for the Friedrichstadt-Palast and wrote chansons for the men's vocal quartet ''Die Mimosen''. His last work was ''Claire Waldoff. Stations of a cabaret career'', which was performed in 2000 at the Charlottenburger Theater Tribune with Angelika Mann in the role of Claire Waldoff. Dorotheenstadt Cemetery
The Dorotheenstadt Cemetery, officially the Cemetery of the Dorotheenstadt and Friedrichswerder Parishes, is a landmarked Protestant burial ground located in the Berlin district of Mitte which dates to the late 18th century. The entrance to the plot is at 126 Chaussee Straße (next door to the Brecht House, where Bertolt Brecht and Helene Weigel spent their last years, at 125 Chaussee Straße). It is also directly adjacent to the French cemetery (also known as the cemetery of the Huguenots), established in 1780, and is sometimes confused with it. History In the second half of the 18th century, Berlin's population was growing and there was insufficient land for cemeteries because of pressure to build on vacant land and fear of epidemics. Gustav von Wangenheim (born Ingo Clemens Gustav Adolf Freiherr von Wangenheim; 18 February 1895 – 5 August 1975) was a German nobleman, actor, screenwriter and director. Life Wangenheim was born Ingo Clemens Gustav Adolf Freiherr von Wangenheim in Wiesbaden, Hesse, to parents Eduard Clemens Freiherr von Wangenheim and Minna Mengers. Both of his parents were performers; his father, who used the stage name Eduard von Winterstein, appeared in over 200 films between 1910 and 1960. He briefly served in the Imperial German Army during World War I but was discharged in 1915 because of an eye injury. Wangenheim made his screen debut in 1914 in ''Passionels Tagebuch'' and went on to star in many silent features. Among his works were Fritz Lang's early science fiction film, ''Frau im Mond'' (as "Windegger"), and Karl Heinz Martin's ''Das Haus zum Mond''.
