Freske Fraspark
''Freske fraspark'' (Fresh Push-Offs) is a Norwegian comedy film from 1963 directed by Bjørn Breigutu. The script was written by Kjell Aukrust and Breigutu. The story was previously arranged for stage for the Norwegian Theater in Oslo as the play ''Dobbeltsats og freske fraspark'' (Double Takeoff and Fresh Push-Offs), which was based on scenes from Aukrust's books ''Simen'' and ''Bror min'', published in 1958 and 1960. Filming of ''Freske fraspark'' took place in Alvdal, Tolga, and Vingelen. The film was very poorly received by the reviewer at ''Verdens Gang'', who gave it one star out of six. Plot An old village dispute between Alvdal and Tynset has flared up again in the winter of 1936. The reason is that Per Sætermyrmoen has won the Holmenkollen 50 km cross-country ski race, and both villages would like to claim him as one of their own and celebrate the skier upon his return home. Kjell Aukrust
Kjell Aukrust (19 March 1920 – 24 December 2002) was a Norwegian author, poet, artist and humorist. Aukrust is principally known for his Flåklypa stories and Flåklypa drawings. Personal life Aukrust was born in Alvdal in Hedmark, Norway as a son of Lars Olsen Aukrust (1886–1965) and Louise Walmsnæss (1887–1973). His father was rector at Storsteigen Agricultural School in Alvdal. He was a nephew of poet Olav Aukrust, brother of Odd Aukrust, a noted economist who was responsible for research at Statistics Norway. He was married to Kari Holter in 1947. He trained at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry 1938–42. In 1939, one of his drawings was accepted at the Autumn Exhibition in Oslo. Einar Vaage
Einar Vaage (March 1, 1889 – June 11, 1973) was a Norwegian actor. Vaage was active in Oslo from 1921 onward, where he was engaged with the Central Theater (from 1925 to 1931) and the Oslo New Theater. The comedy roles that Vaage played include the clerk Styver in Henrik Ibsen's play '' Love's Comedy''. Vaage appeared in 49 Norwegian films. He played bit roles in most of them. Waage debuted in the silent film '' Madame besøker Oslo'' in 1927, and he played one of the lead roles in '' Sangen om Rondane'' in 1934, which was one of the first sound films in Norway. He is probably best remembered for his portrayal of Judge Nicolai Bals in '' Tante Pose'' (1940). Vaage's last film role was in the 1964 comedy '' Husmorfilmen høsten 1964''. Kari Diesen (née Heide-Steen; 24 June 1914 – 18 March 1987) was a Norwegian singer and revue actress. Turid Balke
Turid Balke (25 July 1921 – 5 January 2000) was a Norwegian actress, playwright and artist. Biography Born in Kirkenes, she started her professional career at Trøndelag Teater in 1949. She would spend many of her years as an actress at Folketeatret and the famous Norwegian revue-stage Chat Noir. She was also an artist and a designer, even designing "proper" toys for children, but more importantly she would become one of the pioneers in Norwegian children's theatre. She wrote and staged several plays for children and is also remembered for creating ''Balkeby'' (Balke-town), a miniature-town with puppets and their stories performed by Balke.
