Fresh With The Australian Women's Weekly
''Fresh with the Australian Women's Weekly'' was an Australian television program on the Nine Network. The show began on 10 January 2000 known simply as ''Fresh'' and had screened in various timeslots. It was lengthened to an hour and moved to midday. This move, however, only lasted for two weeks and from 14 May the show was cut back to half an hour and returned to its previous timeslot. In 2008, it was announced that the Australian Women's Weekly would no longer sponsor Fresh, and this ultimately became the reason for its axing. Cancellation On 19 February 2009, the Nine Network announced that the program had been axed due to there being no sponsor, with the last-ever episode airing on 13 March 2009. ''Kerri-Anne'' was an Australian morning television program shown on the Nine Network, hosted by Kerri-Anne Kennerley. It was broadcast on weekdays at 9am for two hours. The final episode of the series was on 25 November 2011. It was replaced by ''Today Extra'', hosted by Sonia Kruger and David Campbell. History The program debuted on 28 October 2002 on the Nine Network to compete against Network Ten's '' Good Morning Australia'' with Bert Newton. The show began as a one-hour program from 9:30 to 10:30 am five days a week. In the program's second season in 2003, the show progressed to an hour and a half from 9:30 to 11:00am. ''Nine News'' (stylised ''9News'') is the national news service of the Nine Network in Australia. Its flagship program is the hour-long 6:00 pm state bulletin, produced by Nine's owned-and-operated stations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin. National bulletins also air on weekday mornings, weekend afternoons and most nights of the week after 10:30pm. WIN Television is an Australian television network owned by WIN Corporation that is based in Wollongong, New South Wales. WIN commenced transmissions on 18 March 1962 as a single television station covering the Wollongong region. The WIN Network has since grown to cover much of regional Australia. Lyndey Milan
Lyndey Milan is an Australian media personality. For over 30 years she has been one of Australia's recognised food and cooking show personalities, contributing to both TV, radio and print media. She was co-host on the channel 9 show ''Fresh with the Australian Women's Weekly'' and she was the Food Director for ''The Australian Women's Weekly''. Milan attended Wenona School in North Sydney, New South Wales. She was the mother of actor/television presenter Blair Milan. They had recently completed filming Lyndey and Blair's Taste of Greece when Blair was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia. He died on 17 April 2011, at age 29.
