Fredrick Onyango
Fredrick Jerim Onyango Oduor (born 18 November 1984 in Ugunja, Siaya), commonly known as Jerim Onyango, is a Kenyan footballer who plays for Kenyan Premier League side Gor Mahia as a goalkeeper, and also serves as the club's captain. He has also appeared for the Kenya national team, and was part of the squad that won the 2013 CECAFA Cup. Onyango is known as "Jerry Jagoal" among Gor Mahia fans. Club career After graduating from Kamukunji High School in Nairobi, Onyango began his professional career at K.R.A. in 2006, who at the time were competing in the now defunct Nationwide League, before joining Gor Mahia two years later. He has been ''K'Ogalos first-choice keeper since the beginning of the 2009 season, after Jacktone Odhiambo left the club for Ulinzi Stars. Ugunja
Ugunja town is a market town in western Kenya, located in Ugunja Division, Siaya County. It has a population of approximately 17,000 and is rapidly growing. Ugunja Division had a population of 79,113 according to the 1999 Kenyan census. Most of the inhabitants in Ugunja are Luos. The 2013 COSAFA Cup, sponsored by South African Breweries and officially named the 2013 COSAFA Castle Cup, was the 14th edition of the COSAFA Cup, an international football competition consisting of national teams of member nations of the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA). CECAFA Cup
The CECAFA Cup, is the oldest football tournament in Africa. It is organized by the Council for East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA). A FIFA competition, it includes participants of football playing national teams from the East African Region. Cup history There is an anomaly on national teams in the case of Tanzania. It fields two teams, Tanzania and Zanzibar. The 2012 KPL Top 8 Cup was the second edition of the football tournament which ran from 14 March to 19 August 2012. The KPL Top 8 Cup (also known as the KPL Top 8 Knockout, the KPL Top 8 Knockout Cup or simply the Top 8 Knockout, the Top 8 Cup or the Kenyan Top 8 Cup) is a Kenyan Football (soccer), football championship contested by the top eight teams of the preceding Kenyan Premier League (KPL) season. The 2015 Kenyan Super Cup was a Kenyan football match contested by the 2014 Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia and the 2014 FKF President's Cup champions Sofapaka. The first 2013 Kenyan Super Cup was a Kenyan football match which was contested by 2012 Kenyan Premier League champions Tusker and 2012 FKF President's Cup champions Gor Mahia at the Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi on 23 February. The 2009 Kenyan Super Cup was the inaugural edition of the tournament. 2012 FKF President's Cup
The 2012 FKF President's Cup was the 41st season of Kenya's top domestic cup competition. The deadline for application was 30 July, and 32 clubs had registered for participation to the tournament after paying a mandatory Kenyan shilling, KSh.15,000/= fee, with a final list of 34 teams. The quarter-finals were played on 6−7 October, while the semi-finals and the final were played on 17−18 November and 21 November respectively, after the end of the 2012 Kenyan Premier League.
