Fred Cooke (comedian)
Frederick Cooke (born 27 August 1980) is a stand-up comedian and actor from Kells, County Meath, Ireland. Career In 2011, Cooke began touring regularly with his stand-up playing the Irish comedy circuit including the Cat Laughs Comedy Festival. That same year he made his debut at Edinburgh Fringe Festival with his show, 'Comfort in Chaos' for which Chortle named him "Ireland's Most Unique Stand-Up." Between 2009 and 2016, Cooke appeared in various sketches on the RTÉ comedy show, Republic of Telly. In 2012, Cooke played various roles in David McSavage's comedy sketch show ''The Savage Eye.'' He also had a guest role in the BBC comedy series, ''Vexed.'' Throughout 2014 and 2015, Cooke was one of the lead pranksters on RTÉ's hidden camera show, ''The Fear''. In 2015, Cooke wrote and starred in his own comedic documentary, ''Operation Transportation: Highway to Kells'' for RTÉ2 which followed him learning to drive at the age of 35. Kells, County Meath
Kells (; ) is a town in County Meath, Ireland. The town lies off the M3 motorway, from Navan and from Dublin. Along with other towns in County Meath, it is within the "commuter belt" for Dublin, and had a population of 6,135 as of the 2016 census. It is best known as the site of Kells Abbey, from which the Book of Kells takes its name. ''Dancing with the Stars'' is an Irish reality television series, airing on RTÉ One that started on 8 January 2017, and is currently hosted by Jennifer Zamparelli and Doireann Garrihy. The show is based on the original UK version, ''Strictly Come Dancing'' and is part of the ''Dancing with the Stars'' franchise. Opening Act
A opening act, also known as a warm-up act, support act, or supporting act, is an entertainment act (musical, comedic, or otherwise), that performs at a concert before the featured act, or "headliner". Rarely, an opening act may perform again at the end of the event, or perform with the featured act after both have had a set to themselves. ''Name That Tune'' is an American television music game show. Originally created and produced by orchestra conductor Harry Salter and his wife Roberta Semple Salter, the series features contestants competing to correctly identify songs being played by an on-stage orchestra or band. ''Name That Tune'' premiered on the NBC Radio Network in 1952, where it aired until 1954, and made the move to television in 1953 on the same network. CBS picked up the television series in the summer of 1953 and carried it through 1959. A short-lived revival for syndication followed in 1970 with Richard Hayes as host, but a second revival in 1974 was much more successful.
