Fred Binney
Frederick Edward Binney (born 12 August 1946) is an English former professional footballer who played in the Football League for Torquay United, Exeter City, Brighton & Hove Albion, Plymouth Argyle and Hereford United, and in the North American Soccer League for the St. Louis Stars. Early career Binney was raised in the Barbican area of Plymouth. He was a prolific goalscorer in junior football whilst playing for CM Department juniors and was signed by South Western League side Launceston. He became an apprentice at Devonport Dockyard and whilst continuing to play for Launceston, also played for John Conway in the Devon Wednesday League. During the early years in the dockyard Fred was also involved in the music scene in Plymouth with the Hoe Nuts a very popular local group. It was playing for John Conway that Binney was spotted by Don Mills, by now acting as a scout for Torquay United. He signed for Torquay as an amateur, before turning professional in October 1966. Plymouth

Bryan Stanley Robson, better known as Pop Robson (born 11 November 1945) is an English former footballer who played as a centre-forward. He played for Newcastle United, West Ham United, Sunderland, Chelsea and Carlisle United, and scored 265 goals in 674 league games. He also earned one cap for England under-23s. Frank Lord
Frank Lord (13 March 1936 – June 2005) was an English footballer who played as a centre forward. He made 354 appearances in the English Football League for Rochdale, Crewe Alexandra, Plymouth Argyle, Stockport County, Blackburn Rovers and Chesterfield, and scored 172 goals. Life and career Lord was born in Chadderton, near Oldham, Lancashire. He began his career with Rochdale, where he scored 54 goals in 122 league games during eight seasons with the club. His goal-ratio improved with Crewe Alexandra, who he joined in 1961. John Henry Templeman (born 21 September 1947) is an English former professional footballer who made 453 Football League appearances playing as a full back or midfielder, including more than 200 each for Brighton & Hove Albion and Exeter City. Life and career Templeman was born in Yapton, West Sussex, and began his football career with Arundel Town before joining Portsmouth's youth system. However, the Portsmouth club axed its junior teams in 1965, and Templeman moved on to Brighton & Hove Albion.
