Françoise Folmer

	Françoise Folmer Françoise Folmer (born 6 January 1961 in Esch-sur-Alzette) is a Luxembourgish architect and politician. She was named Woman Business Manager of the Year for 2011 by the Banque Internationale à Luxembourg. In March 2015, she became leader of The Greens (Luxembourg), The Greens. She quit this position in June 2018 to preserve her privacy. 	The Greens (Luxembourg) The Greens ( lb, Déi Gréng, french: Les Verts, german: Die Grünen) is a green political party in Luxembourg. Party history 1983–93 The Luxembourgish Greens were founded on 23 June 1983 as Green Alternative Party (GAP). Among its founding members were people engaged in the peace movement and the movement against a nuclear power plant in Luxembourg. Many came from left socialist groups that had split from the LSAP and from the former maoist movement who had already in 1979 been involved in the electoral Alternative List - Resist.
