Francesco Scotti (born 8 January 1983) is an Italian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Cattolica in Serie D. Scotti has spent most of his career in Italian Serie C and Serie D (third and fourth division) Scotti has spent his entire professional career in Italian Lega Pro (third and fourth division); geographically Scotti had spent most of his career in central Italy (Lazio, Tuscany and Marche), except a brief spell in the country of San Marino (lie between Romagna and Marche), as well as Veneto and Emilia–Romagna in early and late career respectively. The 2008–09 Lega Pro Seconda Divisione season was the thirty-first football (soccer) league season of Italian Lega Pro Seconda Divisione since its establishment in 1978, and the first since the renaming from Serie C2 to Lega Pro. It was divided into two phases: the regular season, played from September 2008 to May 2009, and the playoff phase from May to June 2009. It was composed of 54 teams divided into three divisions of 18 teams each, whose teams were divided geographically.
