Francesco Mancini (10 October 1968 – 30 March 2012) was an Italian football goalkeeper and coach, best known for his association with Foggia during the 1990s. Football career Early career Mancini started his career at hometown club Matera in 1985. He later played for Bisceglie in 1987. Foggia Mancini joined Foggia in 1987 and remained with the club for a decade. He helped the club achieve Serie A promotion under manager Zdeněk Zeman, winning the 1990–91 Serie B title. He played 2 Serie B games for Foggia in the 1995–96 season, before leaving on loan for S.S. Lazio in November 1995. He returned to Foggia in the summer of 1996 and played another Serie B season with the club. Bari In summer 1997, he joined A.S. Bari of Serie A, where he played 95 games in three Serie A seasons. ] Francesco Mancini (24 April 1679–August 1758) was an Italian people, Italian painter whose works are known between 1719 and 1756. He was the pupil of Carlo Cignani. Biography A native of Sant'Angelo in Vado, he was a student of Carlo Cignani at Forlì and at Bologna and was introduced to academic painting in the manner of the Carracci; echoes of this style of painting can be seen in his juvenile works: the frescoes of the ''Libreria'' in the main hall of the ''Biblioteca Classense'' in Ravenna, and those in Foligno Cathedral depicting the ''Life of Angela di Foligno''. On the advice of the artist Marcantonio Franceschini, vice-prince of the ''Accademia Clementina'' in Bologna, he moved to Rome, where he made contact with Carlo Maratta, also a native of the Marche. This contact with Maratta's mature work, and with his pupils, is reflected by further developments in Mancini's painting. Francesco Mancini (Naples, 1830–1905) was an Italian painter. Biography In 1844 Francesco Mancini became a student at the Naples Royal Institute of Fine Arts, where he studied drawing and attended Gabriele Smargiassi’s course on landscape from 1846. At the end of the decade he moved on from his academic training and devoted himself to painting from life, during numerous travels in the regions of southern Italy. He also tried his hand at history painting and presented scenes from the struggle for national liberation in Florence at the Esposizione Nazionale di Firenze of 1861. A leading figure in Neapolitan cultural life, Mancini became a member of the Società Promotrice di Belle Arti there in 1862 and was a regular participant in its exhibitions. In 1877 he took up a teaching post at the city's Academy and was one of the founders of the ''Circolo Artistico Napoletano'' in 1888. Francesco Maria Mancini (20 October 1606, Rome – 1672) was an Italian Cardinal (Catholicism), cardinal of the Mancini family. He was made a cardinal by Pope Alexander VII, in reward for contributing to Alexander's election as pope. Life He was the son of Paolo, Signore Illustrissimo, and of the noblewoman Vittoria Capocci.
