Francesco Conti (bishop)
Francesco Conti (c. 1470 in Rome – 1521 in Rome) was an Italian Roman Catholic archbishop and cardinal. Life The son of Jacopo Conti, ''signore'' of Carpineto (and a member of the Roman nobility); and Elisabetta Carafa della Stadera. His uncle was the Cardinal Giovanni Conti. Francesco Conti was educated in law. Francesco Conti was the father of six illegitimate children, five sons and one daughter; Ottavio, Stefano, Camillo, Marzio, Giovanni and Giulia. He died on 29 June 1521 and was originally buried in San Vitale (Rome). Career On 8 October 1494 he was appointed archbishop of Conza and remained in this position until his resignation on 11 September 1517. He never visited the archdiocese, ruling through a series of vicar generals. Pope Leo X made Conti a cardinal priest in the consistory on 1 July 1517. Francesco Bartolomeo Conti
Francesco Bartolomeo Conti (20 January 1681 or 168219 July 1732) was an Italian composer and player of the mandolin and theorbo. He also wrote the oldest mandolin method book that has survived. Little is known about the biography of Conti. He was born in Florence, Italy. By 1700 he was already known as a theorbist not only in his native Florence, but also in other cities such as Ferrara and Milan. The fame he enjoyed by 1701 enabled him to obtain appointment as an auxiliary theorbist at the Habsburg court in Vienna with the same salary as the main theorbist, Orazio Clementi. At the 1706 carnival he made his debut as an opera composer with ''Cleotide'', and in 1713 was appointed as a court composer. In 1708, with the death of Clementi, Conti was promoted senior theorbist, a position he held until 1726. In the same year he was elected a member of the Accademia Filarmonica of Bologna and in 1711 he was appointed ''vice-Kapellmeister'' (''vice-maestro di cappella'') in Vienna. In Ap ...

Francesco Conti (painter)
Francesco Conti (1681–1760) was an Italian painter. Biography Conti was born in Florence, Italy, and spent some time studying art in Rome. He specialized in painting religious-themed works. He studied primarily under Giovanni Maria Morandi and Carlo Maratta. In 1738 he painted one of his most renowned works ''Madonna and Child with St. Sylvester the Pope, St. Paul and St. Catherine of Alexandria''. He continued to paint up until his death in 1760. Francesco Conti (footballer)
Francesco Conti (born 30 August 1962) is an Italian football manager and former player. Playing career Conti played as a midfielder for the Entella youth team, and in 1980 he was bought by Genoa, who were playing in Serie B at the time, but he never managed to play a game with the ''griffins''. He then went to play for Imperia in Serie C2 where he remained for four years. During the 1984–85 season, he played for Sanremese in Serie C1, and he spent the 1985–86 season with Francavilla, with whom he obtained a promotion from Serie C2 to Serie C1. He obtained his second promotion in C1 during the 1989–90 season with Fano, and a third promotion during the 1991–92 season with Ravenna, a side which was managed by a young Luigi Delneri. After the club's promotion, Delneri left to manage Novara, but Conti remained at Ravenna and helped the team achieve promotion to Serie B.
