Frances Cushman Wines (May 9, 1852 - August 26, 1928) was the only woman who was a member of the St. Louis Real Estate Exchange at her time. Biography Frances Cushman was born on May 9, 1852, in the historical town of New Lisbon, Ohio Lisbon is a village in and the county seat of Columbiana County, Ohio, United States, along the Little Beaver Creek. New Lisbon, Ohio
Lisbon is a village in and the county seat of Columbiana County, Ohio, United States, along the Little Beaver Creek. The population was 2,597 at the 2020 census. It is a part of the Salem micropolitan area, southwest of Youngstown and northwest of Pittsburgh. History Lisbon was platted on February 16, 1803, by Lewis Kinney, originally named New Lisbon after the capital of Portugal. The village was incorporated under a special act of legislature on February 7, 1825. Initially known for its iron and whiskey production, New Lisbon became an economic hub of many sorts into the first industrial revolution. Thomas Cushman (Plymouth Colonist)
Thomas Cushman (1607/08–1691) was a leader in Plymouth Colony, New England. He arrived at the colony with his father Robert Cushman on the ship ''Fortune'' in November 1621. Robert Cushman returned to England alone, leaving Thomas as a ward of Governor William Bradford. In 1649 Thomas succeeded William Brewster as Ruling Elder and held that position for over 40 years until his death. Isaac Allerton Sr. (c. 1586 – 1658/9), and his family, were passengers in 1620 on the historic voyage of the ship ''Mayflower''. Allerton was a signatory to the Mayflower Compact. In Plymouth Colony he was active in colony governmental affairs and business and later in trans-Atlantic trading.
