France Men's National Pitch And Putt Team
The France men's national pitch and putt team represents France in the pitch and putt international competitions. It is managed by the Association Française de Pitch & Putt (AFPP). In 1999 the "Association Française de Pitch & Putt" was one of the founders of the European Pitch and Putt Association, the governing body that develops the pitch and putt in Europe and stages a biennial European Team Championship, where France reached the third place in 2003. In 2006 participated in the creation of the Federation of International Pitch and Putt Associations (FIPPA), that stages a biennial World Cup Team Championship. France obtained the third place in 2004. In 2009, vacated their membership of FIPPA and EPPA and joined another international association, IPPA. Manoj Chitnavis
Manoj Chitnavis FRSC is a British teacher and chemist. Education Chitnavis arrived in the UK from Uganda in 1972, and settled in Devon. He studied chemistry and biology at the University of Plymouth from 1985 and was later appointed as a research assistant in environmental sciences there. Career He subsequently started at Exeter School as a teacher in chemistry, biology and physics, where he maintained links with research, later also becoming a careers advisor. In 2009 he was appointed as chair of the UK Association for Science Education, a body for connecting industry, business and research with science education. The Federation of International Pitch and Putt Associations (FIPPA) is one of the governing bodies for the pitch and putt in the world, along with the International Pitch and Putt Association (IPPA). It was created in March 2006 by the representatives of 17 national governing bodies and is based in Barcelona, Catalonia. Members include the pitch and putt unions of Ireland, Great Britain, Catalonia, The Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, Australia, Chile, Andorra, Germany and the United States. Canada and China are associated members. FIPPA organizes a World Cup since 2004 and a World Strokeplay Championship since 2009.
