France Koblar
France Koblar (29 November 1889 – 11 January 1975) was a Slovene literary historian, editor and translator. Koblar was born in Železniki in what was then Austria-Hungary and is now in Slovenia. He studied Slavic languages and Latin at Vienna. He worked as a secondary school teacher at the Poljane Grammar School in Ljubljana from 1919 till 1945 and became a professor of dramaturgy and history of theatre at the newly founded Ljubljana Theatre Academy in 1946 where he worked until 1970. He was president of the Slovene Writers' Association between 1938 and 1945. He was made a member of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts in 1964. Between 1966 and 1975 he was chairman of the Slovenska matica cultural institution and publishing house. Železniki (; german: Eisnern''Leksikon občin kraljestev in dežel zastopanih v državnem zboru,'' vol. 6: ''Kranjsko''. 1906. Vienna: C. Kr. Dvorna in Državna Tiskarna, pp. 66–67.) is a small town in Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Železniki and it is the economic centre and the largest settlement in the Selca Valley. Academy For Theatre, Radio, Film And Television
The Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television ( sl, Akademija za gledališče, radio, film in televizijo or AGRFT) is an academy of the University of Ljubljana in Ljubljana, Slovenia. It is the only college and graduate school in Slovenia with a similar curriculum. It is composed of three colleges: the College for Theatre and Radio, the College for Film and Television, and College for Screen and Play Writing. In addition, a Center for Theatre and Film Studies is included in the academy. The current dean is Aleš Valič. History The academy was founded in 1945. At the beginning, it was only an academy for theatre. Gradually, the sections for radio, film and television studies were added to the curriculum. In 1963 the academy adopted its current name.
