Fort Baker is a major part. It includes or is associated with the Lime Point Tract Reservation and the Tennessee Point Military Reservation. The Lime Point Tract Reservation is a historic name for Fort Baker, which became the new name in 1897. The NRHP listing included one contributing building, 14 contributing structures and three contributing sites, with an area of . Cavallo Point, now a conference center or hotel, is included. Sausalito ( Spanish for "small willow grove") is a city in Marin County, California, United States, located southeast of Marin City, south-southeast of San Rafael, and about north of San Francisco from the Golden Gate Bridge. Sausalito's population was 7,269 as of the 2020 census. The community is situated near the northern end of the Golden Gate Bridge, and prior to the building of that bridge served as a terminus for rail, car, and ferry traffic.
