The Germanic peoples were historical groups of people that once occupied Central Europe and Scandinavia during antiquity and into the early Middle Ages. Since the 19th century, they have traditionally been defined by the use of ancient and early medieval Germanic languages and are thus equated at least approximately with Germanic-speaking peoples, although different academic disciplines have their own definitions of what makes someone or something "Germanic". Forrest Fezler
Forrest Oliver Fezler (September 23, 1949 – December 21, 2018) was an American golf course design consultant and PGA Tour professional golfer. His most prosperous year as a professional came in 1974, when he won the Southern Open and finished in second place to Hale Irwin at the U.S. Open, his best finish at a major. Early years Fezler was born in Hayward, California. He first showed an interest in the game of golf as a 7-year-old boy growing up in San Jose, California by drawing golf holes. As a youth, he would sneak onto the course at the San Jose Country Club to practice. He attended James Lick High School and was a member of the golf team; and a teammate of future fellow PGA Tour player Roger Maltbie. Fezler attended San Jose City College from 1968–1969. Forrest Dunbar (born 1984) is an American politician, attorney, and military officer. He is a member of the Alaska Senate, representing Anchorage District J since 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served on the Anchorage Assembly from 2016 to 2023. He is a major and Judge Advocate in the Alaska Army National Guard. Forrest Dewar FRCSEd (1748–1817) was an 18th/19th century Scottish surgeon who served as President of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh for the period 1786 to 1788. Life He was born on 1 October 1748 the son of John Dewar and Elizabeth Jean Forrest. In 1773 Dewar was a founding member of the Aesculapian Club. In 1782 Dewar was one of the founding members of the Harveian Society of Edinburgh and served as President in 1790 and 1814. In 1783 he was living and working from the Luckenbooths next to St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh. In 1786 he is listed as a Manager of the Edinburgh Dispensary alongside Dr Benjamin Bell, James Hunter and Thomas Elder. In 1786 he replaced Dr Thomas Hay as President of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and he was succeeded in turn in 1788 by Dr Andrew Wardrop. Forrest DeBernardi
Forrest Sale "Red" DeBernardi (February 3, 1899 – April 29, 1970) was an American college basketball player in the 1920s. Standing 6 ft. 1 inches tall, DeBernardi was one of the best centers of his era, and played all five positions. Born in Nevada, Missouri, he attended Westminster College where he played from 1919 to 1921. On January 19, 1920, he made 24 field goals against Missouri Wesleyan, a school record that stands to this day. DeBernardi then transferred to the University of Kansas in order to be closer to the Kansas City Athletic Club so that he could compete for them in the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU). He did not play for the university, however. Following his impressive collegiate career, DeBernardi became an outstanding AAU player. Forrest Eugene "Cap" Craver Sr. (September 24, 1875 – October 18, 1958) was an American college football player and coach and athletic director who helped to pioneer physical education programs at the collegiate level including the introduction of intramural sports. Coaching career Football Craver served as the fifth and fourteenth head football coach at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He held that position for a total of five seasons, first coaching the team for the 1904 season and then returning to coach the team from 1918 until 1921. His overall coaching record at Dickinson was 21 wins, 18 losses, and 6 ties. This ranks him seventh at Dickinson in terms of total wins and tenth at Dickinson in terms of winning percentage.
