Footscray City Films was a film school in Melbourne, Australia situated within the campus of Footscray City College Overview Established in 1981 the school enrols around 80 students each year and provides qualifications based on the Training package (Australia), National Industry Training Package in Screen and Media in Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma. Melbourne ( ; Boonwurrung/Woiwurrung: ''Narrm'' or ''Naarm'') is the capital and most populous city of the Australian state of Victoria, and the second-most populous city in both Australia and Oceania. Timothy Grucza
Timothy Grucza (born 1 July 1976 in Melbourne, Australia) is a cameraman and documentary film maker. He is best known for his work in conflict zones such as Iraq and Afghanistan. Grucza is currently based in Paris, France. Career Grucza began his career in Australia, working on issues in the South Pacific including civil unrest in West Papua. In 1999 he documented repatriated Kosovan Australian refugees, who had escaped the war in Kosovo and were granted safe haven in Australia. He began covering Iraq in 2002 when he entered the Kurdish enclave in the north of the country. During the 2003 invasion of Iraq Grucza worked as a correspondent for the French network Canal+. Megan Spencer (born 1966) is an Australian broadcaster, film critic, journalist, media maker, and teacher. Biography Spencer studied Speech pathology in Melbourne before pursuing interests in film and radio. In the 1980s, as a volunteer, she co-produced 'Eeek!' a 3RRR cultural theory radio show, hosted by Philip Brophy and Bruce Milne. Amiel Courtin-Wilson is an Australian filmmaker. He has directed over 20 short films and several feature films. His debut feature film, ''Hail'', premiered internationally at Venice Film Festival in 2011. He is also a musician, music producer, and visual artist. Early life and education Amiel Courtin-Wilson was born and raised in Melbourne. His parents Peter Wilson and Polly Courtin are both artists.
