Football At The 2017 SEA Games – Men's Tournament
The men's football tournament at the 2017 SEA Games was held from 14 to 29 August in Malaysia in August 2017. In this tournament, all 11 Southeast Asian teams played in the men's competition. In addition to the host city of Kuala Lumpur, matches were also played in Shah Alam and Selayang. Associations affiliated with FIFA might send teams to participate in the tournament. Men's teams were restricted to under-22 players (born on or after 1 January 1995). Thailand won the tournament for the third straight time and a record-extending sixteenth time total. Malaysia participated in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games from 14 to 30 August 2017 as the host nation of the 29th edition of the Games. The Malaysian contingent was represented by 844 athletes consisting of 469 men and 375 women. The Malaysian contingent became overall Southeast Asian Games champion for only the second time ever in the history of the games amassing a total of 145 gold medals more than the targeted figure of 111 gold medals. KLFA Stadium
The Kuala Lumpur Stadium, also KLFA Stadium (), is a multi-purpose stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Kuala Lumpur City. Selayang Municipal Council Stadium (Malay language, Malay: Stadium Majlis Perbandaran Selayang) is a multi-purpose stadium in Selayang, Gombak District, Selangor, Malaysia. UiTM Stadium
Stadium UiTM is a multi-purpose stadium located at Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. Its capacity is 10,000. The stadium was built for Universiti Teknologi MARA and the UiTM F.C., UiTM Football Club.
