Football At The 2016 South Asian Games – Women's Tournament
The women's football tournament of the 2016 South Asian Games is the second edition of the tournament. It was played at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong, India, from 5 February to 15 February 2016. India defended their title with a 4–0 win over Nepal. Squads Format It is being played on round-robin format. The top two teams will be play in the final. The team finishing third in the Group Stage will be awarded with Bronze Medal. Sabina Khatun
Sabina Khatun ( bn, সাবিনা খাতুন; born 25 October 1993) is a Bangladeshi professional footballer who plays as a forward for and captains both Bangladesh Women's Football League club Bashundhara Kings and the Bangladesh women's national team. Sanju Yadav (born 12 September 1997) is an Indian women's professional footballer who plays as a forward for Odisha FC in the Indian Women's League and represents the India women's national football team. Ngangom Bala Devi
Ngangom Bala Devi (born 2 February 1990) is an Indian women's footballer who plays as a forward for India women's national football team. Club career Born in Manipur, Devi grew up playing the game with mainly boys. She was a part of the Manipur U-19 team that took part in the Under-19 Women's Championship in Assam in 2002. After the tournament she was declared the best player of the tournament. She was awarded the same title the next year in 2003. She also earned top-scorer awards at the under-17 level for her state. Eventually, Devi went on to represent the Manipur Senior Women's Football Team in the Senior Women's National Football Championship.
