''Flying Colours'' is the ninth studio album by British-Irish singer Chris de Burgh, released in 1988 by A&M Records. The biggest single released from the album, " Missing You", peaked at No. 3 on the UK Singles Chart, and No. 1 in Ireland in December 1988. An album is a collection of audio recordings issued on compact disc (CD), vinyl, audio tape, or another medium such as digital distribution. ''Music & Media'' was a pan-European magazine for radio, music and entertainment. It was published for the first time in 1984 as ''Eurotipsheet'', but in 1986 it changed name to ''Music & Media''. The Jim Henson Company Lot, formerly A&M Studios, is a studio property located just south of the southeast corner of North La Brea Avenue and Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. Chris White (saxophonist)
Chris White (born 13 July 1955) is an English jazz/rock saxophonist who toured with Dire Straits from 1985–1995, and who has played with many bands and artists, including Robbie Williams, Paul McCartney, Chris De Burgh and Mick Jagger. Biography White took up the saxophone at the age of 13, whilst a pupil at Lawrence Weston Secondary School. He started gigging a couple of years later, and was soon playing in the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and touring with other musicians (such as France Gall). He joined Dire Straits in 1985 for their two final world tours, and played at both the Live Aid concert and Nelson Mandela's 70th Birthday Concert in 1988. Peter Van Hooke
Peter Van Hooke (born 6 April 1950) is an English rock drummer and producer with over 350 credits to his name. He was the drummer for the English band Mike + The Mechanics (from 1984 to 1995) and also drummed for Van Morrison's band, Headstone, and Ezio. During the 1980s he co-produced (along with Rod Argent) many of Tanita Tikaram's hits. Education and early life Van Hooke grew up in Stanmore, Middlesex, England and attended Mill Hill School. His schoolmate Chaz Jankel (later of the Blockheads) lived close by, and the two formed The Call of The Wild. Adrian Lee
Adrian Lee (born 9 September 1957, London, England) is an English musician, known especially for his brass instrumentation work with several well-known acts of the 1980s. Career Lee was first signed to Phonogram Records in the late 1970s as guitarist with the band, Red Hot. They released one single, "L-L-Lazy Days" (1976), which was produced by Mutt Lange. Lee's first big engagement led him to play guitar and keyboards on Cliff Richard's late 1970s tours, and his 1979 album, '' Rock 'n' Roll Juvenile''. In 1980, Lee became a member of the British goth rock band, Toyah, co-writing songs including the hit single, "Thunder in the Mountains", and he stayed with them until 1982. The same year he released his only solo album, called ''The Magician''. ''British Hit Singles & Albums'' (originally known as ''The Guinness Book of British Hit Singles'' and ''The Guinness Book of British Hit Albums'') was a music reference book originally published in the United Kingdom by the publishing arm of the Guinness breweries, Guinness Superlatives. Later editions were published by HiT Entertainment (who had bought the Guinness World Records brand). It listed all the singles and albums featured in the Top 75 pop charts in the UK. In 2004 the book became an amalgamation of two earlier Guinness publications, originally known as ''British Hit Singles'' and ''British Hit Albums''. The publication of this amalgamation ceased in 2006, with Guinness World Records being sold to The Jim Pattison Group, owner of ''Ripley's Believe It or Not!''.
