''Florinda'' is an ABS-CBN weekly television series format adapted from the movie of the same title originally starred by Susan Roces in 1973. which was aired from September 7 to October 2, 2009, replacing '' The Wedding'' and was replaced by '' Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up''. This is the third and final installment of '' Sineserye Presents: The Susan Roces Cinema Collection''. This series is currently streaming on Jeepney TV YouTube Channel every 7:00 pm, replacing ''Lorenzo's Time''. Overview Film Florinda is a 1973 suspense thriller. It was serialized in Tagalog Klasiks and was written by Rico Bello-Omagap and the movie was directed by Armando Herrera. The film starred Susan Roces in the title role, Florinda. ''Sineserye Presents'' is a Philippine primetime soap opera broadcast by ABS-CBN. It literally means a film serialized to a TV series which is the show's concept. Origins In 2005, ABS-CBN first used the term ''Sineserye'' when they launched the television series, '' Panday''. They used it again when they aired the television series version of '' Bituing Walang Ningning''. '' Kampanerang Kuba'' is also considered a ''Sineserye'', although the said network called it a fantaserye. This is a list of programs broadcast by ABS-CBN, a Philippine television network. The network is headquartered in ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center, Diliman, Quezon City. On May 5, 2020, ABS-CBN was issued a cease-and-desist order by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) and Solicitor General Jose Calida, after the NTC refused to renew the network's franchise license earlier in February 2020. The franchise license expired on May 4, 2020, and a day later, ABS-CBN officially signed off in the evening. On July 10, 2020, the House Committee of 18th Congress rejected the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN. As a result, the network was forced to cease operations of some of its divisions and laid off its workers on August 31, 2020. Reynold Garcia (born December 15, 1974 in Laoang, Northern Samar), known by his stage name Pooh, is a Filipino actor, comedian, impersonator, singer and host. He is known for currently starring in the comedy gag show '' Banana Split''. He is also known for impersonating boxer and politician Manny Pacquiao. He was the 2006 and 2007 awardee for Aliw Award best male stand-up comedian. He was again nominated in 2008.
