Joey Worthen
Joey Worthen (born December 3, 1979 in Salt Lake City, Utah) is a former United States, American association football, soccer player and the current head coach of the Florida Atlantic Owls men's soccer program. Career College and amateur Worthen attended Cottonwood High School (Utah), Cottonwood High School where he was named to the Parade (magazine), Parade High School All-America soccer team in 1998. He played college soccer at the University of South Carolina in 1998, but after his freshman season he withdrew from school to play for the United States men's national under-20 soccer team, United States U-20 men's national soccer team. He returned to South Carolina in 1999 and continued until his senior season in 2001, finishing his career with 24 goals and 15 assists. Worthen also played with the Cape Cod Crusaders in the USL Premier Development League in 2000. Kentucky Wildcats Men's Soccer
The Kentucky Wildcats men's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of the University of Kentucky (UK). Since the Southeastern Conference (SEC) does not sponsor men's soccer (minimum four schools needed to sponsor a sport, only two offer it), the team has been associate members of other conferences. From 1995 to 2004, it was a member of the Mid-American Conference. In 2005, UK moved men's soccer to Conference USA, creating a rivalry with fellow new member South Carolina, which had rejoined the reunified conference that season. Both UK and South Carolina remained in C-USA men's soccer through the 2021 season, after which both programs left for the newly reinstated men's soccer league of the Sun Belt Conference. The Conference USA men's soccer tournament was the conference championship tournament in soccer for Conference USA (C-USA). The tournament was held every year from 1995 until 2021, except 2020. It was a single-elimination tournament and seeding was based on regular season records. Tycho Lawson Collins (born October 20, 2001) is a Chinese-American footballer who plays as a forward for USL Championship side Memphis 901. Career Youth Born in Shanghai, China, Collins also spent part of his childhood in Memphis, Tennessee with Lobo Rush between 2013 and 2015, winning two state titles. Conference USA (C-USA or CUSA) is an intercollegiate athletic conference whose current member institutions are located within the Southern United States. The conference participates in the NCAA's Division I in all sports. C-USA's offices are located in Dallas, Texas. The NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament, sometimes known as the College Cup, is an American intercollegiate soccer tournament conducted by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and determines the Division I men's national champion. Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. In some sports, this extra period is played only if the game is required to have a clear winner, as in single-elimination tournaments where only one team or players can advance to the next round or win the tournament.
