Florida's 3rd House District
Florida's 3rd House district elects one member of the Florida House of Representatives. The district is represented by Jayer Williamson. This district is located in the Florida Panhandle, and encompasses part of the Emerald Coast, as well as parts of the Pensacola metropolitan area and the Crestview metropolitan area. The district covers the most of Santa Rosa County and the top half of Okaloosa County. The largest city in the district is Navarre. As of the 2010 census, the district's population is 158,797. This district has a large military presence, serving as a bedroom community for the Naval Air Station Pensacola to the west and Eglin Air Force Base to the East. The district also contains Naval Air Station Whiting Field, as well as several Naval outlying landing fields. DeeDee Ritchie (born September 22, 1953) is an American politician from Pensacola, Florida. Personal life Ritchie was born on September 22, 1953, in Leesville, Louisiana. In 1975 she graduated from Auburn University, and in 1979 she graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a masters in education. Grover is a blue Muppet character on the popular PBS/HBO children's television show ''Sesame Street''. Self-described as lovable, cute and furry, he is a blue monster who rarely uses contractions when he speaks or sings. Grover was originally performed by Frank Oz from his earliest appearances. Phil Ashler
Phil Ashler (October 15, 1914 – April 27, 2009) was an American politician. He served as a Democratic Party (United States), Democratic member for the Florida's 3rd House of Representatives district, 3rd district of the Florida House of Representatives. Life and career Ashler was born in New York. He attended St. John's University (New York City), St. John's College and Harvard University. In 1963, Ashler was elected to the Florida House of Representatives.
