Florida's 12th House District elects one member of the Florida House of Representatives. The district is represented by Clay Yarborough. This district is located in First Coast#Northeast Florida, Northeast Florida, and encompasses part of the First Coast, as well as the eastern part of the Jacksonville metropolitan area. The district also contains the eastern half of the Arlington (Jacksonville), Arlington and the part of the Southside (Jacksonville, Florida), Southside neighborhoods of Jacksonville, Florida, Jacksonville. The district covers part of eastern Duval County, Florida, Duval County. The district is located entirely within Jacksonville, Florida, Jacksonville, though it only contains part of the city. Clay Yarborough
Clay Yarborough (born February 6, 1981) is an American politician who has served in the Florida Senate from the 4th district since 2022. He previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from the 12th district from 2016 to 2022, and on the Jacksonville City Council from the 1st district from 2007 to 2015. Florida's 5th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of Florida. It extends along Florida's northern boundary from Jacksonville to Tallahassee. The district includes all of Baker, Gadsden, Hamilton and Madison counties and portions of Columbia, Duval, Jefferson, and Leon counties. It is a minority-majority district. As defined by the state legislature in 2013 (which lasted until 2017), the 5th district ran from Jacksonville to Orlando; it was considered one of the most-gerrymandered congressional districts in the country. Before 2013, similar territory was included the 3rd district. Florida's 4th congressional district is a congressional district in northeastern Florida, encompassing Nassau and parts of Duval and St. Johns counties. The district is currently represented by Republican Aaron Bean. As part of the 2020 redistricting cycle, the district was redrawn to include Clay County and exclude St. Johns County. Rutherford was redistricted into the 5th district, and Republican state senator Aaron Bean was elected to be the district's representative in the 2022 election. Lake Ray (born October 4, 1956) is a Republican member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing the 12th District, which includes parts of downtown Jacksonville in Duval County, since 2012, and previously representing the 17th District from 2008 to 2012. George Crady
George Abraham Crady (born June 14, 1931) is an American politician in the state of Florida. He was born in 1931 in Miami, and attended Duke University (B.A. 1953) and Jones Business College. After university, he was a helicopter pilot in the United States Marine Corps from 1954 to 1957.
