FLEX Records is a Danish record label. Label founded by Scandinavian Records in 1994 to release various electronic music (mainly - dance genres). It was sold to the Danish branch of the EMI group in 1996. FX Records is a sublabel of FLEX Records which positions itself in ambient music. Laid Back
Laid Back is a Danish electronic music duo group from Copenhagen, formed in 1979. The duo consists of John Guldberg (vocals, guitar, bass) and Tim Stahl (vocals, keyboards, drums, bass). They are best known for the hits " Sunshine Reggae" and "White Horse" from 1983 and "Bakerman" from 1989. Background and origins John Guldberg and Tim Stahl met in the mid-1970s, and they played together in a group called the Starbox Band. After a poorly received show supporting the Kinks, the band split up, but the duo continued working together. Guldberg set up a small studio in downtown Copenhagen where the two musicians began exploring the possibilities that were being opened up by new technologies, such as multitrack tape recorders, synthesizers and drum machines. Recordings 1981-89 Their debut album, simply titled ''Laid Back'', was released in 1981, and the single "Maybe I'm Crazy" became a number-one hit in Denmark. Whigfield
Whigfield is an Italian dance act fronted by Danish singer, songwriter and record producer Sannie Charlotte Carlson (born 11 April 1970), known by her various stage names including Whigfield, Naan, or simply Sannie. She is best known for her 1993 single " Saturday Night", which became an international hit the following year. Based in Italy at the time, Carlson worked with Italian producer Larry Pignagnoli and " Saturday Night" entered the top five in Italy. Her single " Another Day" also managed to peak at number three in Italy as well. The single " Sexy Eyes" also charted in a number of other markets, along with "Another Day" and " Think of You" which entered the top ten in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, and her native Denmark. Vincent de Moor (; born 1973, Delft, Netherlands) is a Dutch trance artist. He is most notable for his work with the record producer Ferry Corsten under the working title, " Veracocha," and for his 2001 single, "Fly Away". Musical career Early career De Moor first recorded in 1993 as Fix To Fax. Tracks released under this alias included "Enjoy Yourself", "Do U Feel It", "Pick It Up" and "Take Control". Other early releases include "Het Vliegende Kunstgebit" as Gmoork, "Chinese Juice" and "Exotic Mind" as Outline, and "Voice In The Dark", "Frame Of Pleasure" and "Brazilia Carnavelas" as Sidewalk. Tiggy (born 1970 as Charlotte Vigel) is a Denmark, Danish musical artist and radio host. Biography Charlotte Vigel was born and brought up in Bornholm where, thanks to her parents' great interest in amateur theatricals, she made her stage debut at the age of 10 years. As a result of her theatre performances, it was only natural that she developed a great interest in dancing and this led to her taking part in a number of competitions all over Denmark as well as forming her own dance group. When Tiggy turned sixteen she began to concentrate more on music. She became the lead singer in both a dance band and a rock band and performed at numerous concerts. Norman Bass
Norman Delaney Bass, Jr. (born January 21, 1939) is a former American college and professional football player and baseball player. He was a pitcher for the Kansas City Athletics from 1961 to 1963. A safety in football, he played college football at the University of the Pacific, and professionally in the American Football League for the Denver Broncos in 1964. Bass became an international table tennis player. His 2–sport athlete status came about because arthritis forced him to retire from baseball. His is the brother of NFL player Dick Bass.
