Fleksnes Fataliteter
''Fleksnes Fataliteter'', better known by its shortened title ''Fleksnes'', was a Norwegian-Swedish-Danish television comedy series produced between 1972 and 2002, created by Swedish writer Bo Hermansson and based on Galton and Simpson's scripts for the British series ''Hancock's Half Hour''. History The series was born when Swedish writer Bo Hermansson began translating the British comedy series ''Hancock's Half Hour'' in the early 70s, drawing attention from three different Nordic broadcasters, who eventually produced and aired the series together. The main dialogue is in Norwegian, but nearly all episodes featured guest stars from both Sweden and Denmark. Fleksnes was only meant to be a single series of five or six episodes, but it became such a popular show in all three countries that it was immediately renewed for six more episodes. Rolv Wesenlund
Rolv Helge Wesenlund (17 September 1936 – 18 August 2013) was a Norwegian comedian, singer, clarinetist, writer and actor. Biography Wesenlund was most known for having portrayed the title character in the movies ''Bør Børson'', ''Bør Børson II'', and the TV series ''Fleksnes Fataliteter'', a popular Scandinavian sitcom, with a huge number of fans in Sweden, Denmark as well as Norway. The show was mainly an adaption of the British series ''Hancock's Half Hour''. Wesenlund had his stage debut in 1964; his movie debut in 1966; and his TV debut in 1968, with the TV series ''Og takk for det''. On this show and several others, he worked with Gunnar Haugan and Harald Heide-Steen Jr. For several years, he hosted the talk show ''Wesenstund''. Galton And Simpson
Ray Galton OBE (17 July 1930 – 5 October 2018) and Alan Simpson OBE (27 November 1929 – 8 February 2017) were English comedy scriptwriters whose partnership lasted over 50 years. They met in 1948 whilst recuperating from tuberculosis at the Milford Sanatorium, near Godalming in Surrey. They are best known for their work with comedian Tony Hancock on radio and television between 1954 and 1961 and their long-running television situation comedy, ''Steptoe and Son'', eight series of which were aired between 1962 and 1974. Career The partnership's break in comedy writing came with the Derek Roy vehicle ''Happy Go Lucky'', although this was not a success. ''Hancock's Half Hour'' was a BBC radio comedy, and later television comedy series, broadcast from 1954 to 1961 and written by Galton and Simpson, Ray Galton and Alan Simpson. The series starred Tony Hancock, with Sid James, Sidney James; the radio version also co-starred, at various times, Moira Lister, Andrée Melly, Hattie Jacques, Bill Kerr and Kenneth Williams.
