''Flavors of Love'' is the third Japanese-language studio album of the South Korean boy group Monsta X. It was released and distributed by Universal Music Japan on May 5, 2021. The lead single of the same title was released on April 14. Background and release The album was announced on March 9, as a surprise announcement following the release of the single album ''Wanted''. It also include five new Japanese tracks as well as six previously released tracks. These previously released tracks were from Monsta X's three single albums released in 2020 and early 2021: ''Wish on the Same Sky'', ''Love Killa (Japanese version)'', and ''Wanted''. "Wanted" and "Neo Universe" were released as part of the single album ''Wanted'', released on March 10. "Wanted" was pre-released on February 10 and its music video released on February 13. Monsta X (; stylized as MONSTA X) is a South Korean boy group formed through the reality survival program ''No.Mercy'' under Starship Entertainment. The group is currently composed of six members: Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney and I.M, with former member Wonho having left the group in October 2019. The group debuted on May 14, 2015 with their first EP ''Trespass''. Kim Hyung-soo (Korean: 김형수) (born December 22, 1990), better known as Brother Su (Korean: 브라더수), is a South Korean singer-songwriter and record producer. Su debuted in 2010 and has been signed under Starship Entertainment's subsidiary label Starship X since 2015. The Oricon Albums Chart is the Japanese music industry standard albums popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Oricon originally published LP, CT, Cartridge and CD charts prior to the establishment of the Oricon Albums Chart on October 5, 1987. The Oricon Albums Chart's rankings are based on physical albums' sales. Oricon did not include download sales until its establishment of the Digital Albums Chart on November 19, 2016. In November 2018, Oricon began to include streaming in its album rankings, introducing a combined album chart based on album-equivalent units. Charts are published every Tuesday in Oricon Style and on Oricon's official website.
