Fifty-Fifty (1971 Film)
Fifty Fifty ( he, חצי חצי) is an Israeli comedy film directed by Boaz Davidson and produced by Assi Dayan and Moshe Golan. Plot "Fifty fifty" is a comedy that takes place in Tel Aviv during the early 1970s. Grossman is a bakery owner who wins the lottery, however, he holds only half of the winning ticket. The other half is in the possession of his partner Levi, who dies unexpectedly. The plot gets complicated when two crooks break and settle in Levi's apartment. Boaz Davidson
Boaz Davidson ( he, בועז דוידזון, ; born 8 November 1943) is an Israeli film director, film producer, producer and screenwriter. He was born in Tel Aviv, Israel and studied film in London at London Film School. Biography Davidson was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, to a Jewish family. He started his career by directing the television show ''Lool'' (1969) and the music documentary ''Shablul'' (1970). Later he directed Israeli cult films such as ''Charlie Ve'hetzi'' (1974) and ''Hagiga B'Snuker'' (1975). In 1974 he directed the film ''Mishpahat Tzan'ani''. He directed the first four films in the ''Eskimo Limon'' series (''Eskimo Limon'' (1978), ''Going Steady (1979 film), Yotzim Kavua'' (1979), ''Shifshuf Naim'' (1981), ''Sapiches'' (1982). Gali Atari ( he, גלי עטרי; born December 29, 1953) is an Israeli singer and actress. Atari won the Eurovision Song Contest 1979 which was held in Jerusalem, as part of Milk and Honey. Early life Atari was born in Rehovot, Israel, to Jewish parents who immigrated to Israel from Yemen. She is the sister of Yona Atari, a singer and actress, and Shosh Atari, a radio host and TV personality. Her father died when she was four years old, and, after his death, her family moved to live in Tel-Aviv. Career 1970s Atari was introduced to the Israeli musician David Kribushe when she was 15 years old. After an audition for him, he gave her a featured singing part in one of his songs “Half and Half”.
