"Field of Dreams" is a song originally written and recorded by Force & Styles featuring Jenna on vocals. The song was released on white label in 1997 and later appeared on their greatest hits album ''Heart of Gold'' (2000). In 2003 the song was covered by Flip & Fill featuring Jo James and reached No. 28 on the UK Singles Chart. Force & Styles version The Force & Styles version was a happy hardcore song which features the vocals of Jenna who has collaborated with the duo on several recordings. The song was produced, written and recorded by Force & Styles at their own 'UK Dance Studios', in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex in 1996. Darren James Mew (born 23 May 1975), better known as Darren Styles, is an English record producer, DJ, singer and songwriter from Colchester, England. Originally a member of the breakbeat hardcore group DJ Force & the Evolution, Styles found success during the 1990s as one half of Force & Styles. The duo were pioneers of happy hardcore and wrote several well-known songs such as " Heart of Gold", "Pretty Green Eyes" and " Paradise & Dreams". In the early 2000s, Styles began producing more trance-influenced records with Mark Brady as Styles & Breeze. The duo released two hit singles "You're Shining" (2004) and "Heartbeatz" (2005) which both reached the Top 20 of the UK Singles Chart. Clacton-on-Sea is a seaside town in the Tendring District in the county of Essex, England. Happy Hardcore
Happy hardcore, also known as 4-beat or happycore, is a subgenre of hardcore dance music or "hard dance". It emerged both from the UK breakbeat hardcore rave scene, and Belgian, German and Dutch hardcore techno scenes in the early 1990s. A white label record is a vinyl record with white labels attached. There are several variations each with a different purpose. Variations include test pressings, white label promos, and plain white labels. The label is a joint venture with Universal, and has developed from their previous partnership with the All Around the World dance music label. The Irish Singles Chart is the Republic of Ireland's music industry standard singles popularity chart issued weekly by the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) and compiled on their behalf by the Official Charts Company. Chart rankings are based on sales, which are compiled through over-the-counter retail data captured electronically each day from retailers' EPOS systems. All major record shops, digital retailers and streaming services contribute to the chart, accounting for over 95% of the market.
