Shahbaz Ahmed
Shahbaz Ahmad (Urdu: شہباز احمد) (born September 1, 1968) is a former field hockey player from Pakistan who is also known by his nickname as "Shahbaz Ahmed Senior". He was born in to Arain family. Career He is considered to be among the best forwards in the history of field hockey. He joined the Pakistan National Hockey Team in 1986, and was captain of the national side, that led his team to the 1994 Men's Hockey World Cup victory. "He played a major role in Pakistan victories in 1994 World Cup in Sydney, Australia and Champions Trophy 1994 in Lahore, Pakistan." Haider Hussain (field Hockey)
Haider Hussain ( ur, ), (born 14 December 1979 in Karachi) is a field hockey forward player who was a member of the Pakistan national men's field hockey team, playing in the qualifiers for the 2000 Olympics. Early life Born at Karachi's sharyar hospital, Nazimabad on 14 December 1979. Haider is a former pupil of Karachi's Habib Public School, the school of many other hockey stars. In fact, it has been rightly remarked that hockey is taught as a subject in this school. He came from a sporting family; his father, Syed Nasim Hussain, was a former first-class Volleyball player. Tariq Mehmood
Brigadier Tariq Mehmood (8 Oct 1938 – 29 May 1989) was a Pakistani military officer of Pakistan Army. He was serving as the Commander of Pakistan Army's Special Service Group (SSG), when he died in an accident in 1989 due to malfunctioning of his parachute during a free fall display at Rahwali, near Gujranwala. Munawwaruz Zaman (2 April 1951 – 28 July 1994) was one of the players of the Pakistan national field hockey team produced by Pakistan. Munawwar played for Pakistan until his retirement in 1980.
