Feyenoord Academy (Varkenoord)
Feyenoord Academy, often referred to as Varkenoord, is the youth academy of the professional football club Feyenoord located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The Feyenoord Academy received the official international youth academy status from the KNVB and is located at Sportcomplex Varkenoord. Feyenoord Academy has been voted as the best developmental system in the Netherlands, winning the Rinus Michels Award for best youth academy five years in a row since 2009. No other academy produced more players for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, where eleven former Feyenoord Academy players were active. In May 2010, Feyenoord Academy won the Rinus Michels Award for the first time. Ajax and Sparta Rotterdam were the other nominees. Feyenoord Academy won the award for its innovation within the academy, the overall success of its teams in the national youth leagues and the high number of players in the national youth teams. Justin Bijlow (born 22 January 1998) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as goalkeeper for Eredivisie club Feyenoord and the Netherlands national team. Sjaak Troost
Jacob "Sjaak" Troost (born 28 August 1959) is a Dutch retired footballer who played as a defender. Club career Born in Pernis, South Holland, Troost played his entire career with local Feyenoord, making his Eredivisie debut on 9 April 1978 in a 0–1 away loss against FC Volendam and becoming an undisputed starter from the 1981–82 season onwards. He appeared in 29 games in 1983–84 as the Rotterdam club won the league after a 10-year wait, scoring once in a 4–0 win at Fortuna Sittard as the campaign also ended with Dutch Cup conquest. Johannes Frederik "Joop" Hiele (born 25 December 1958 in Rotterdam) is a former football goalkeeper from the Netherlands, who earned seven caps for the Netherlands national football team. René Van Der Gijp
René van der Gijp (born 4 April 1961) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a right winger for Sparta Rotterdam, Lokeren, PSV, Neuchâtel Xamax, Aarau and Heerenveen, as well as for the Netherlands national team. Wilhelmus Marinus Antonius Jansen (; 28 October 1946 – 25 January 2022) was a Dutch professional football player and manager. As a midfielder or defender, he spent most of his career at Feyenoord, winning honours including the European Cup in 1970. Hans Venneker
Johannes Gerardus Nicolaas Venneker (born 5 March 1945) is a Dutch former footballer who played as a forward. A Feijenoord youth product, he made his Eredivisie debut with club and went on to play for NEC Nijmegen, Sparta Rotterdam and French club Montferrand. He also made four appearances for the Netherlands national team. Venneker is the only Feyenoord player to have scored five goals in a match against De Klassieker rivals Ajax Amsterdam. Noah Naujoks (born 2 May 2002) is a Dutch footballer who plays as a midfielder for Eredivisie club Excelsior Rotterdam.
