The International Festival of Cinema and Audiovisual of Burundi (FESTICAB) is an annual film festival held in Burundi. FESTICAB was established by the film director Léonce Ngabo in 2009. Amil Shivji
Amil Shivji (born 1990) is a Tanzanian filmmaker. His films generally tackle misrepresentations of Africa and its history, as well as the theme of neocolonialism. Biography and career Born in Dar es Salaam, Shivi's roots can be traced back to Zanzibar. Often visiting as a child, he frequently draws inspiration from the island. Before launching his film career, Shivji worked as a journalist and radio host. He is the founder of Kijiweni Productions, a production company, and Kijiweni Cinema. Shivji launched his career with two short fiction films, ''Shoeshine'' (2013) and ''Samaki Mchangani'' (2014). Tim Conrad (born 6 January 1951) is an Australian rowing coach and former Olympian rower. He was a five time national champion and competed in the men's eight event at the 1976 Summer Olympics. Club and state rowing Raised in Brisbane, Conrad attended Brisbane State High School where he took up rowing and matriculated in 1969. He studied architecture at the University of Queensland and rowed in the University's men's eight at the 1971 Australian Intervarsity Championships. Conrad first made state selection for Queensland in the men's senior eight which contested the 1972 King's Cup at the Interstate Regatta. In Sydney, Conrad rowed from firstly the Sydney University Boat Club and later the UNSW Rowing Club. Cédric Ido (born 22 October 1980) is a French-Burkinabe director, writer and actor. He grew up in Stains, Seine-Saint-Denis, a small suburban town near Paris and in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso during Thomas Sankara’s revolution. Rungano Nyoni is a Zambian-Welsh director and screenwriter. She is known for the film ''I Am Not a Witch'', which she wrote and directed.
