Ferrán Sarsanedas Soler (born 11 February 1997) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Elche CF Ilicitano. Club career Born in Amer, Girona, Catalonia, Sarsanedas joined FC Barcelona's youth setup in 2007, from Girona FC. Ahead of the 2016–17 campaign, he was promoted to the reserves in Segunda División B, and made his senior debut on 27 August 2016 by coming on as a substitute for Fali in a 3–1 away win against Hércules CF. 2017 Segunda División B Play-offs
The 2017 Segunda División B play-offs (Playoffs de Ascenso or Promoción de Ascenso) are the final playoffs for promotion from 2016–17 Segunda División B to the 2017–18 Segunda División. The four first placed teams in each one of the four qualify for the promotion playoffs and the four last placed teams in Segunda División are relegated to Segunda División B. It also decides the teams which placed 16th to be relegated to the 2017–18 Tercera División. Format The four group winners have the opportunity to promote directly and become the overall Segunda División B champion. The 2019–20 Segunda División B season was the 43rd since its establishment. Eighty teams participated, distributed in four groups of twenty clubs each. On 11 March 2020, the season of Segunda División B was suspended due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic in Spain. On 6 May 2020, the Royal Spanish Football Federation announced the premature end of the league, revoking all relegations and planning an eventual promotion playoff to be played if possible. Also, the expansion of the league to five groups of 20 teams each for the 2020–21 season (due to promotion from the curtailed Tercera División groups being applied) was approved.
