Fernando Ortiz (born December 25, 1977) is an Argentine former footballer and the current manager of Mexican club América. Playing career Ortiz was spotted by Argentine giants Boca Juniors in 1997. He made his debut in 1998, and helped Boca to win the Primera División 1998 Apertura championship. He played 8 games for Boca in all competitions, scoring three goals. In 1999, he was loaned to RCD Mallorca in Spain, where he played half-a-season for their B team (RCD Mallorca B). He returned that same year to Argentina to play for San Lorenzo. Subsequently, he had spells at Unión de Santa Fe and Banfield, before joining Estudiantes de La Plata in 2004. Ortiz helped Estudiantes to win the 2006 Apertura. Corral De Bustos
Corral de Bustos is a town in Argentina located in the district of Marcos Juárez, in the south east of the Province of Córdoba. History The town of Corral de Bustos-Ifflinger was founded in the early Twentieth Century, when the German Carlos Von Ifflinger requested permission from the Government of the Province of Cordoba to establish a town that would carry on his surname. The government granted the permit on 14 November 1901 and this is now regarded as the founding date of the city, which originally only covered what is now Barrio Ifflinger. In July 1902, a train service was inaugurated. The station was given the name Corral de Bustos, referring to an ancient Indian site located south of Chañar Ladeado. Club Estudiantes de La Plata ( lit. "Students from La Plata"), simply referred to as Estudiantes de La Plata , is an Argentine professional sports club based in La Plata. The club's football team currently competes in the Primera División, where it has spent most of its history. The club is a successful team in Argentina. Institución Atlética Sud América, usually known as Sud América or just IASA, is a football club from Montevideo. They currently play in the Uruguayan Segunda Division. History Sud América has won the Uruguayan 2nd Division on 7 occasions, this is a national record they share with Fénix. The 2012 Copa Libertadores de América (officially the 2012 Copa Santander Libertadores for sponsorship reasons) was the 53rd edition of the Copa Libertadores de América, South America's premier international club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. The 2010–11 Primera División season was the 120th season of top-flight professional football in Argentina. A total of 20 teams competed in two championships —the Apertura and Clausura— over the course of the season, which started on August 6, 2010 and ended on June 30, 2011, one day prior to the start of the 2011 Copa América, held in Argentina. Sebastián Enrique Domínguez (born July 29, 1980) is an Argentine former footballer who played as a centre back. He is currently assistant coach to Hernán Crespo at Qatari first division side Al-Duhail SC. Dominguez' professional football career spanned 19 years during which he played for teams in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico, winning titles with all but one. The 2006–07 Argentina Primera Division was the 116th season of first division football in Argentina. Estudiantes (LP) won the Torneo Apertura and San Lorenzo won the Torneo Clausura. Belgrano and Quilmes were relegated to the Primera B Nacional and Huracan and Tigre were promoted after winning the relegation playoff against Godoy Cruz and Nueva Chicago respectively.
