Fernando Azevedo E Silva
Fernando Azevedo e Silva (born 4 February 1954) is a Brazilian politician and reserve army general. He served as the Brazilian Minister of Defence during the first half of President Jair Bolsonaro's term from January 2019 to March 2021. He graduated as Infantry Officer on December 14, 1976, at the Academia Militar das Agulhas Negras, and was promoted to Army general (four stars rank) on July 31, 2014. He was assistant to Supreme Federal Court Chief Justice Dias Toffoli. Infantry is a military specialization which engages in ground combat on foot. Augusto Heleno Ribeiro Pereira (born 29 October 1947) is a Brazilian politician coup articulator and retired General of the Brazilian Army. He was military commander of the Amazon and Chief of the Department of Science and Technology of the Army. Heleno has declared positions against official politics, particularly about the attitude of the international community in regards to Haiti and the indigenous politics of the Brazilian government. During Jair Bolsonaro presidential campaign, the candidate invited Heleno as his running mate in the election, but his party refused. José Antonio Dias Toffoli (born November 15, 1967) is a Brazilian lawyer who has been a member of the Supreme Federal Court of Brazil since 2009, nominated by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
