''Feind hört mit'' (" heenemy listens in") is an album by Austrian heavy metal band Stahlhammer. It was released on 27 April 1999. The album's text is largely written in a font of Cyrillic , bg, кирилица , mk, кирилица , russian: кириллица , sr, ћирилица, uk, кирилиця , fam1 = Egyptian hieroglyphs , fam2 = Proto-Sinaitic , fam3 = Phoenician , fam4 = G ... letters, though the words are German. The limited edition was limited to only 2,000 copies each with a number on the back. The text at the bottom of the album cover reads "Goldenes Zepter nur ein Stock in des Königs Hand. Wer nicht wagt der darf nicht hoffen auf ein schöner Land". Roughly translated, this means "A golden scepter is only a stick in the hand of a king. Stahlhammer
Stahlhammer (German for "Steel Hammer") is a Neue Deutsche Härte band from Austria that formed in 1992. They incorporate elements from hardcore, groove metal, industrial metal and symphonic metal into their songs. The band has to this date released six albums, where the majority of songs are in German. Their latest album is '' Opera Noir'', which was released in March 2006. History Stahlhammer is one of the most popular bands to ever come out of Austria. The band name was originally going to be "Eisenherz", but copyright laws for the German "Prince Valiant" stories prohibited this, though this later became the name of their fourth album. Their first album '' Killer Instinkt'', released in 1995, became widely known throughout Austria and Germany due to the success of their video for the Pink Floyd cover "Another Brick in the Wall". Neue Deutsche Härte
Neue Deutsche Härte (; "new German hardness"), sometimes abbreviated as NDH, is a subgenre of rock music that developed in Germany and Austria during the early-to-mid 1990s and during the early 2000s. Alluding to the style of Neue Deutsche Welle, the term was coined by the music press after the 1995 release of the German rock and metal band Rammstein's first studio album ''Herzeleid''. Characteristics Neue Deutsche Härte describes a crossover style that is influenced by Neue Deutsche Welle, alternative metal and groove metal combining it with elements from electro-industrial and techno. The lyrics are generally in German. NDH uses the basic setup of instruments for metal: electric guitar, bass guitar, drums and vocals, along with keyboard, synthesizers, samples and sometimes additional percussion. Nuclear Blast is a record label and mail order record distributor with subsidiaries in Germany, the United States and Brazil. The label was founded in 1987 by Markus Staiger in Germany. Johann "Hans" Hölzel (; 19 February 1957 – 6 February 1998), better known by his stage name Falco, was an Austrian singer and musician. Falco had several international hits including " Der Kommissar" (1981), "Rock Me Amadeus", "Vienna Calling", " Jeanny", " The Sound of Musik", " Coming Home (Jeanny Part II, One Year Later)", and posthumously " Out of the Dark". "Jeanny" is a song by Austrian singer Falco, released in December 1985 as the third single from his third studio album, ''Falco 3'' (1985). It was written and composed by Falco and Rob and Ferdi Bolland, who also produced the song. It was the third song released as a single out of the album in 1986. Controversial due to its lyrics, it nonetheless became topped the charts in numerous European countries. The single re-entered the Austrian Singles Chart in 2008 at number 56 and in 2017 at number 47. Composition The song is about a relationship between a man and a woman named Jeanny. At the time when it reached number one, critics said that the song glorifies rape. German TV and radio personality Thomas Gottschalk made various negative remarks and called the song "rubbish".
