Federico Munerati
Federico Munerati (; 20 September 1901 – 26 July 1980) was an Italian footballer who played as a forward or as a midfielder. Club career Born in La Spezia, Italy, Munerati played most of his career with Italian club Juventus (1922–33), where he won four Italian league titles during his nine seasons with the Turin side. He remains 10th on the all-time top goalscorers list for ''the Old Lady'', as he scored 113 goals in 256 appearances in all competitions during his time spent playing with the club. He later spent single-season spells with Sampierdarenese (1933–1934) and A.C. Pistoiese (1934–1935), before retiring. International career At international level, Munerati also played for the Italy national football team on four occasions in 1926 and 1927. Cross (football)
In association football, a cross is a medium- to-long-range pass from a wide area of the field towards the centre of the field near the opponent's goal. Specifically, the intention of a cross is to directly bring the ball into the box from an angle that allows the attacking forwards to more easily aim for goal with their head or feet. 1933–34 Serie B
The Serie B 1933–34 was the fifth tournament of this competition played in Italy since its creation. This championship was organized with two groups and a final round to determine the promoted team. Teams Viareggio, Perugia and Foggia had been promoted from Prima Divisione, while Bari and Pro Patria had been relegated from Serie A. Atalanta and Pistoiese had been re-elected by the Higher Directory to expand the league. More, during the summer the FIGC decided to abolish with immediate effect the round robin as too expensive, and Catanzaro, Seregno, SPAL, Pavia, Vicenza and Derthona were invited to join. The Serie B (), currently named Serie Balkrishna Industries, BKT for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest division in the Italian football league system after the Serie A. It has been operating for over ninety years since the 1929–30 Serie B, 1929–30 season. It had been organized by Lega Nazionale Professionisti, Lega Calcio until 2010, when the Lega Serie B was created for the 2010–11 season. 1932–33 Prima Divisione
The 1932–33 Prima Divisione was the third level league of the 33rd Association football league system in Italy, Italian football championship. In 1928, FIGC had decided a reform of the league structure of Italian football. The top-level league was the National Division, composed by the two divisions of Serie A and Serie B. Under them, there were the local championship, the major one being the First Division, that in 1935 will take the name of Serie C. Starting this season, the winners of the nine groups of First Division would be admitted to the final rounds, where three tickets of promotion to Serie B were available, whereas the scheduled relegations were annulled by the Federation which expanded the division, as the scheduled promotions were increased for an enlargement of next Serie B season.
