Family Reunification
Family reunification is a recognized reason for immigration in many countries because of the presence of one or more family members in a certain country, therefore, enables the rest of the divided family or only specific members of the family to emigrate to that country as well. Family reunification laws try to balance the right of a family to live together with the country's right to control immigration. However, what the balance looks like and which members of the family can be reunited differ largely by country. A subcategory of family reunification is marriage migration in which one spouse immigrates to the country of the other spouse. Marriage migration can take place before marriage and then falls under its own special category, or it can take place after marriage and then falls under family reunification laws. Some countries allow family reunification for unmarried partners if they can prove an ongoing intimate relationship that also lasted longer than a certain period of t ...

The Family Reunion
''The Family Reunion'' is a play by T. S. Eliot. Written mostly in blank verse (though not iambic pentameter), it incorporates elements from Greek drama and mid-twentieth-century detective plays to portray the hero's journey from guilt to redemption. The play was unsuccessful when first presented in 1939, and was later regarded as unsatisfactory by its author, but has been successfully revived since the 1940s. Some critics have thought aspects of the tormented hero reflect Eliot's difficulties with his estrangement from his first wife. Productions Première The play was first performed on 21 March 1939 at the Westminster Theatre, London, with Michael Redgrave as Harry, Helen Haye as Lady Monchensey and Catherine Lacey as Agatha.''The Times'', 22 March 1939, p. 12 It ran until 22 April 1939. It is the largest surviving canvas (152 by 230 cm) by this artist. It is now in the collection of the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. Description The painter took inspiration to create this painting from a meeting that took place at his residence in Méric, near Montpellier, in the summer of 1867. Under the shade of a large chestnut tree, on a sunny day, which enhances the variations between light and shade, Bazille represents his parents seated on a bench, on the left. On the terrace also depicted are his uncle Eugéne des Hours and wife, his cousin Pauline with her husband Émile Teulon, and his brother Marc with his wife Suzanne and another cousin, Camille, back from a walk. The author depiction of himself, at the far left, behind his seated parents, was only included in the composition later. The women's dresses in light blue with navy blu ...

Family Reunion (band)
Family Reunion is the world's first "virtual" country music band. It is composed of six anonymous American musicians and composers living in Virginia, Tennessee, Texas, and California. A majority of the songs were composed by Brian Rock (BMI) and Chris Spradling (BMI) who first worked together in Roanoke, Virginia. The duo also had submissions with American Idol. Background In 2010, Family Reunion released the single ''Blue Collar King''. The members live in different parts of the US. The six professional musicians and songwriters in Family Reunion have over 50 years of experience in the music industry. But, tired of playing ''On the Road Again'' on the road for so long, they had individually decided to settle down with more stable gigs including session work and sound production for film. Then, a chance discussion at an actual family reunion united the six individual musicians into a single, country-wide band. In 2010, Family Reunion were awarded platinum and gold “Auddys” f ...

Longhaired Redneck
''Longhaired Redneck'' is an album released by country musician David Allan Coe. It was released in 1976 on Columbia. Recording ''Longhaired Redneck'' was Coe's third album for Columbia in three years and the first where he wrote or co-wrote all the songs. Coe had already written several hits for other artists and scored his own Top 10 hit in 1975 with the Steve Goodman-John Prine composition “You Never Even Called Me by My Name.” By 1976 the outlaw country movement was in full swing as artists such as Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson were finally enjoying massive commercial success after years of fighting to record their music their own way. Coe, however, was still somewhat of an outsider, almost too outlaw for the outlaws, a predicament summed up well by Thom Jurek in his AllMusic review of the LP: The outlaw country zeitgeist was summed up well in the title track of ''Longhaired Redneck'', which recounts playing in a dive “where bikers stare at cowboys who are lau ...
