Famelica Monotropis
''Famelica monotropis'' is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Raphitomidae. Description The length of the shell attains 9.3 mm, its diameter 3.3 mm. The thin, white, subhyaline shell has a fusiform shape and a turreted spire with an acuminate apex. It contains eight whorls. The suture is impressed. The keel is protruding and sharp. The subsutural band coincides with the rest of the surface. The growth lines are barely perceptible. One can notice with a lens on the body whorl, below the keel, two obsolete decurrent threads. The aperture is oblong. The wide siphonal canal is very long. The narrow columella stands upright and is very sharp at the base. It shows a very thin callus. The outer lip is thin and sharp. Famelica Monoceros
''Famelica monoceros'' is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Raphitomidae. Description The length of the shell attains 4.6 mm. The thin, ivory-white, high, narrow shell is drawn out, with fine spiral threads, a very oblique impressed suture, rounded whorls, and a contracted base produced into a longish snout. Sculpture. Longitudinals—none but fine, somewhat unequal lines of growth. Spirals—with the exception of the sinus-area, the whole surface is covered by fine, rounded, unequal, and irregularly interrupted spiral threads with rather broader intervals. The colour is porcellaneous, ivory-white, glossy. The spire is remarkably narrow, high, drawn out and conical. The apex is broken. There are five whorls remaining, but probably 8–9 in all, of very regular, but rather rapid increase, high, oblique, slightly tumid. The body whorl is rounded, with a conical, protracted, but very lop-sided base running out into a longish straight columella ...

Famelica Mirmidina
''Famelica mirmidina'' is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Raphitomidae. Description The length of the shell attains 7.5 mm, its diameter 2.5 mm. The thin shell has a long spire. It contains 8 whorls. The suture is impressed. The subsutural band is distinguished from the rest of the surface only by the direction of the growth striae that are arched in the opposite direction. At the base of the upper whorls, there are some very short longitudinal threads. The top of the holotype is in very bad condition so we cannot see if these are the vestiges of a general sculpture of the embryonic whorl. The aperture is slightly pyriform. The wide siphonal canal is very short. The narrow columella stands almost upright and is slightly twisted at the base. It shows a very thin callus. The outer lip is thin and sharp. The shell shows a uniform white color. Distribution ''F. mirmidina'' can be found in waters off the western coast of Florida.Tunnell, J ...

Famelica Catharinae
''Famelica catharinae'' is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Raphitomidae. The species was named for Katharine J. Bush, an American malacologist. Description The length of the shell attains 23 mm, its diameter 6.5 mm. (Original description) The thin, white shell is translucent. It is very slender, elongated, narrow, fusiform, with a long, narrow, tapered, nearly straight siphonal canal, and a tall, gradually tapered, acute spire. It contains eight, evenly rounded whorls. but not very convex, with a distinct, flattened, smooth subsutural band. The suture is well marked, but not deep, decidedly oblique. The surface is everywhere covered with conspicuous, regular, raised, revolving cinguli, in some parts with one or more smaller revolving lines in the spaces between them. The cinguli are obtusely rounded and entirely smooth, as well as the spaces between them, which are of about the same breadth. On the penultimate whorl there are about fifteen cing ...
