He has received widespread acclaim for his innovative production work and distinctive "stuttering" rhythmic style. In 2007, ''Entertainment Weekly'' stated that "just about every current pop trend can be traced back to him — from sultry, urban-edged R&B songstresses ... to the art of incorporating avant-garde sounds into No. 1 hits." Timbaland's first full credit production work was in 1996 on '' Ginuwine...the Bachelor'' for R&B singer Ginuwine. Further work on Aaliyah's second studio album '' One in a Million'' (1996) and Missy Elliott's debut studio album ''Supa Dupa Fly'' (1997) made him a prominent producer for R&B and hip hop artists. Someone Else Not Me
"Someone Else Not Me" is the 30th single by Duran Duran, and the only single from the album ''Pop Trash''. It charted at number 26 in Italy and number 53 on the UK Singles Chart. About the song The song is a melancholy ballad, and the only song on the ''Pop Trash'' album with lyrics actually written by vocalist Simon Le Bon; the rest were composed by bandmates Nick Rhodes and Warren Cuccurullo. Live performances of this song on television shows and their 1999 and 2000–2001 tours featured a harder-edge, rock ballad style with much more prominent guitar. Chart positions "Someone Else Not Me" only reached number 53 in the United Kingdom, a disappointing placing considering most previous singles had hit the top 40. However, it made it to the top 30 in Italy, reaching number 26. Music video The video was the first to be created entirely in Macromedia Flash animation, by web design firm Fullerene Productions (who also created the band's Flash-based official website). B-sides, ...
