"Face to Face" is a song by French electronic music duo Daft Punk, featuring vocals and co-production by American house music producer Todd Edwards. It was released as the fifth single from their 2001 album ''Discovery''. Promotional 12" singles were released for those who pre-ordered the 2003 remix album '' Daft Club'', and a CD single containing a remix of the song by French producer Demon was released commercially. Jérémie Mondon, known by his stage name Demon, is a French electronic music producer, born in 1977 in Paris. His music comes under the genre known as French touch. Music career The start of Demon's career was particularly influenced by the hip hop movement and artists such as Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, Mobb Deep and A Tribe Called Quest. These artists heavily influenced his first recordings and he still has close ties to rap music, as he produces music for French rappers. Soon after his spell with hip-hop he joined the French electronic scene. In 1997 he created the label 20000ST, in order to produce his first EP, ''A-Typique''. The Red Bull Music Academy (RBMA) is a world-traveling series of music workshops and festivals that was founded in 1998 by Red Bull GmbH. The main five-week event is held in a different city each year.
