Fabio D'Andrea
Fabio D'Andrea () (born 18 January 1980) is a British Italian pianist, composer, songwriter and producer. He trained at King's College London under the composer George Benjamin. Though his primary style of composition is classical, he is also known in the music industry for pop collaborations and producing in a number of different genres. Early life and education D'Andrea was born in Cambridgeshire. His mother is English, though born and brought up in India, and his Father is Italian, having moved to the UK when he was young. At age five he began having piano lessons with a local teacher and soon after started to learn to play the violin and double bass. At age ten he joined the Peterborough Cathedral Choir as a chorister and joined the choir on a tour of the United States, providing the opportunity to perform in Disney's Epcot Centre and his first experience of a professional engagement. George Benjamin (composer)
Sir George William John Benjamin, CBE (born 31 January 1960) is an English composer of contemporary classical music. He is also a conductor, pianist and teacher. He is well known for operas '' Into the Little Hill'' (2006), '' Written on Skin'' (2009–2012) and '' Lessons in Love and Violence'' (2015–2017)—all with librettos by Martin Crimp. In 2019, critics at ''The Guardian'' ranked ''Written on Skin'' as the second best work of the 21st-century. Biography Benjamin was born in London and attended Westminster School. Alison Balsom
Alison Louise Balsom, Lady Mendes, (born 7 October 1978) is an English trumpet soloist, arranger, producer, and music educator. Balsom was awarded Artist of the Year at the 2013 Gramophone Awards and has won three Classic BRIT Awards and three German Echo Awards, and was a soloist at the BBC Last Night of the Proms in 2009. She was the artistic director of the 2019 Cheltenham Music Festival. Pietro Mascagni (7 December 1863 – 2 August 1945) was an Italian composer primarily known for his operas. His 1890 masterpiece ''Cavalleria rusticana'' caused one of the greatest sensations in opera history and single-handedly ushered in the ''Verismo'' movement in Italian dramatic music.
