The 1991 FIVB Volleyball World League was the second edition of the annual men's international volleyball tournament, played by 10 countries from 17 May to 27 July 1991. The Final Round was held in Milan, Italy. Andrea Zorzi
Andrea Zorzi (born 29 July 1965 in Noale, province of Venice) is a former Italian volleyball player, who won two World Championships with the Italy men's national volleyball team (1990 and 1994). A 201 cm athlete, Zorzi was en effective spiker playing usually as opposite hitter. He was popularly known as Zorro. After his debut in Bormio in 1986, he totalled 325 caps with Italian national team. He was a silver medalist in the 1996 Summer Olympics and also competed at the 1988 and 1992 games. Playing for almost all the major volleyball clubs of Italy, including Maxicono Parma and Sisley Treviso Volley Treviso is a professional volleyball team based in Treviso. They were known at the past with the sponsorship name Sisley. The team plays at the Serie B. FIVB Volleyball World League
The FIVB Volleyball World League was an annual international men's volleyball competition. Created in 1990, it was the longest and richest of all the international events organized by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB). The women's version of the competition was called FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix. This event should not be confused with the other international volleyball competitions, the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, World Championship, the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Cup, World Cup and the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Champions Cup, World Grand Champions Cup. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. The receiving team must not let the ball be grounded within their court. The team may touch the ball up to three times to return the ball to the other side of the court, but individual players may not touch the ball twice consecutively. ...

Mediolanum Forum (originally the Forum di Assago, formerly the FilaForum and DatchForum) is an indoor sports arena that is located in Assago, a small town 3 km outside Milan, Italy. The arena has a seating capacity of 12,700 and is primarily used for basketball, ice hockey, tennis and live concerts. Ron Zwerver
Ronald ("Ron") Ferdinand Zwerver (born 6 June 1967) is a retired volleyball player from the Netherlands, who represented his native country in three consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in Volleyball at the 1988 Summer Olympics, 1988 in Seoul, South Korea. He was one of the dominant forces in Dutch volleyball in the 1990s. Zwerver was a member of the teams which won the silver medal in the 1992 Summer Olympics and the gold medal in the 1996 Summer Olympics. He is the current coach of Nesselande, which is a team that plays in the highest Dutch league. Scott Fortune
Scott Thomas Fortune (born January 23, 1966) is an American former volleyball player. He was an All-American at Stanford University and a three-time Olympian for the United States national team. He helped the United States win the gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. High school Fortune played for the volleyball team at Laguna Beach High School. He helped the team win the 1983 CIF championship. As a senior, he was named the South Coast League's Most Valuable Player. Fortune was also a point guard on the school's basketball team. College Fortune played for Stanford from 1985 to 1989. He was selected as an All-American in 1987 and 1989. He helped Stanford advance to the NCAA Final Four in 1989, and was selected to the All-Tournament Team. In 1998, Fortune was inducted into the Stanford Athletics Hall of Fame.
