Seefeld In Tirol
Seefeld in Tirol is an old farming village, now a major tourist resort, in Innsbruck-Land District in the Austrian state of Tyrol (state), Tyrol with a local population of 3,312 (as of 1 January 2013). The village is located about northwest of Innsbruck on a plateau between the Wetterstein mountains and the Karwendel on a historic road from Mittenwald to Innsbruck that has been important since the Middle Ages. It was first mentioned in 1022 and since the 14th century has been a pilgrimage church, pilgrimage site, benefiting not only from the visit of numerous pilgrims but also from its stacking rights as a trading station between Augsburg and the Republic of Venice, Venice. Julia Kern (born September 12, 1997) is an American cross-country skier. Career Julia Kern was born in Berkeley, California and grew up in Waltham, Massachusetts. Kern participated in three consecutive Junior World Championships between 2015 and 2017. Individually, a 9th place in the sprint classic at the 2017 Junior World Championships in Soldier Hollow was her best result. She won a bronze medal as part of the American 4 × 3.33 km relay team. As a senior, Julia Kern debuted in the World Cup in the 2016–17 season. She participated in the 2019 World Championships in Seefeld, Austria, where she finished 19th in the 15 km skiathlon and 23rd in the individual sprint.
