Finn Hågen Krogh
Finn Hågen Krogh, born 6 September 1990) is a Norwegian cross-country skier who has competed at FIS Cross-Country World Cup since 2011. Career Krogh was born in Alta. He is of Sami and Norwegian descent. Krogh represents Tverrelvdalen IL. In addition to being a cross-country skier, he played for Tverrelvdalen's senior football team in the 3. divisjon before he had to choose between football and skiing. As Krogh was selected for the youth national team in cross-country skiing, he chose to quit football, but said in an interview with Norwegian TV 2 in 2011 that he believes he could have been a professional Tippeligaen player if he had chosen football ahead of skiing. Jesse Cockney
Jesse Cockney (born July 26, 1989, in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories) is a Canadian Olympic cross-country skier of Inuvialuit heritage whose father, Angus Cockney, also was a Canadian national team member and national champion. The 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia is where Cockney made his Olympic debut. Cockney competed in two events at Sochi, the sprint, and the 50 km mass start, which are the shortest and longest events at the Games. Prior to the Olympics, Cockney had a successful Junior career, winning three gold medals at the 2011 Canada Winter Games (15 km classic, free sprint, and 4x5km relay). He also made his World Cup debut in 2011. While growing up in Canmore, Alberta, Cockney participated in the ski development program. Károly Gombos (born 3 October 1981, in Budapest) is a Hungarian cross-country skier and biathlete. Brief biography Károly made his maiden appearance in biathlon in 2005. The event that motivated him to this sport cannot be better explained than his own words: "The first time I saw biathlon on television with English commentary, it pleased me at once. I later watched a race in Slovakia with guys skiing with a pair of narrow skis in a dense forest, and it became clear this sport was made for me." Peter Mlynár (born March 1, 1988, in Poprad) is a Slovakia, Slovak Cross-country skiing (sport), cross-country skier who has been competing since 2007.
